Day five, and for the first time this season Basket has a teammate. The title card reads "Episode 5, Camping Spawn." Basket and pikerize are still underground near the center of the map, where day four ended.
A new team in chat
Early on the server posts "Team Created: Virii333 and Sayulily." ty750 writes "CRUD," Sayulily writes "Yes!" and MomofMiners writes "saw that coming." MomofMiners also has a complaint from the day before: "so Basket ur not gonna fix her hearts?" Sayulily got hearts back somehow, and nobody knows how yet.
The pair work through a stone tunnel past a lava pool, then up through dirt toward the surface.
A shot at ty750
When the two come up into a grassy field, ty750 is out there too. Basket draws the bow and fires across the grass.
The server posts "ty750 was shot by BasketMC." TopStiGear writes "GG" and FriarNurgle adds "nice shot." ty750's gear is left in the grass, gold among it. Basket's own health is down to about half, and the two go back underground.
The Nether heals
Back by the furnaces, Basket eats a golden apple and two gold bonus hearts appear over the health bar. Then the Tab list shows Sayulily and Virii333 at full health. Basket types "why ar eyou healed up all the way?" and "you cheating?" Sayulily answers "I found out how I regen'ed hearts." MomofMiners leaves an emote, "quits cuz they cheatin'," and Scoti_Garbidis asks "so this match is busted?"
The cause comes out in chat and on voice: natural regeneration is off in this match, but players who go into the Nether heal anyway. Scoti_Garbidis sums it up: "going into nether must have healed them." Basket runs the game rule command again. Chat shows "naturalRegeneration = false" and "Game rule has been updated." It makes no difference down there. "So I think that we don't know how to fix it for the nether."
Basket posts the ruling in chat: "yeah, try to not use nether," and then that players who used it will try to fix their health when they come out. Sayulily writes "I'll be fixing my health when I leave the nether." pikerize adds "the nether is your friend apparently."
Diamonds, briefly
The two dig long tunnels. Evil_Mech_Meru earns the Diamonds achievement, and Basket types "I want diamonds :(". MomofMiners keeps trying to team up with Evil_Mech_Meru. Then "Evil_Mech_Meru suffocated in a wall." Basket types "gg" and then "can I have your diamonds?" pikerize answers "The diamonds!" MomofMiners: "I ain't got no one to team with."
End of day five
Near the end Sayulily writes "Health is fixed. Nether portal is blocked," and Virii333 writes "hearts fixed." The server posts "End of Day 5. Players remaining:" with eight names: pikerize, BasketMC, MomofMiners, Virii333, Sayulily, Scoti_Garbidis, TopStiGear and FriarNurgle. Basket is alive, still digging with pikerize, and still without diamonds when the episode ends.
