"Welcome back everybody, it is episode 7. I'm still alive." Day seven opens in the zombie dungeon base, with Basket still the only player on team green. Last time Basket found a team of three building right overhead, the team Basket takes to be AngryK9's. Now there is a new idea. "I'm gonna try and use lava or flint and steel to put their stuff on fire."
Back up the tunnel
Basket puts andesite on the hotbar "to help cover my tracks" and climbs back toward the surface. "I don't see any names yet. So maybe they changed locations." A moment later: "Oh, no, they're still there." Charging three players alone is still off the table. Basket would rather wait for Scoti_Garbidis's team to fight them first and then ambush whoever is left.
Chat is restless. ty750 asks, "What is everyone doing? like no one has gotten injured," and thepigglesworth answers "surviving" and "we are waiting to kill." ty750 replies, "that's not how you play the game."
Fire in the woods
Basket digs out to a small opening in the trees, takes out the flint and steel and sets a leafy bush alight, then backs into the tunnel and fills the hole behind. "We'll see how that spreads."
It gets noticed. Chat warns "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!", and then bjaydubya posts, "some people just like to watch the world burn." ty750 adds, "makes sense." Basket is pleased that "they noticed it."
Next comes bjaydubya with "thanks for the arrows," and Scoti_Garbidis answers, "no thank you." Basket reads it as a fight between the two teams. "Sounds like a perfect time for distraction." Then the server posts "Soul Crusher is coming!" as the border starts another 138 block shrink.
The record goes back on
Basket still wants proof that the team upstairs is busy before going up. "I feel like the sword deserves to kill somebody." In the meantime, the jukebox from last episode gets attention. Basket gathers up the disc and the jukebox, sets the jukebox in a tunnel and starts the song again. The screen reads "Now playing: C418 - 13." thepigglesworth types, "that is your death music playing :P"
Basket is not a fan of the song either. "More stupid CD."
More fire, more tunnels
Basket digs up through dirt to another spot on the surface and lights a second fire with the flint and steel. "Okay, I started some more fire." At one point Basket stops. "I could've sworn there was a different name that showed up, but I'm not sure who it would be."
The player list shows how thin everyone is getting. PsychoSFK is down to about two and a half hearts and AngryK9 to about three and a half, while Basket sits at nine and Bakerbelle is full. Gopherboy's name is grayed out with no hearts. Basket gets back to digging. "Let's make some more tunnels."
End of day seven
The server posts "End of Day 7. Players remaining:" with nine names: nihontiger, BasketMC, AngryK9, thepigglesworth, bjaydubya, Scoti_Garbidis, Bakerbelle, PsychoSFK and ty750. Basket is alive, alone on team green, and still digging tunnels underground when the episode ends. "Tune in next time to find out if I charge, or if I sit here and hide some more."
