Season 6 opens on a "GopherCraft UHC Season 6" title with "Day of the Dragon" under it, and the team cards, with no episode number. This season the goal is the Ender Dragon, and Basket plays for Team Hungry, the red team, with Scoti_Garbidis, SodaShaman and pikerize. Scoti_Garbidis types "GO!!!" and the match starts in a snowy biome.
Spruce everywhere
The first job is wood, and the team wants oak. Oak leaves can drop apples, and apples are where golden apples start. All they find is spruce. "I do not see any oak trees," someone says. Basket's hotbar soon holds four crafting tables, and one gets handed to a teammate who asks for it. In chat, Gopherboy asks "day one safe?" and Scoti_Garbidis answers "no grace period."
SodaShaman comes down the hill to meet up, and the team follows a river looking for anything with leaves. They find sugar cane and a little coal, and someone spots a single oak tree. Nobody finds an apple.
The hunger problem
There are no animals on the snow. "Has anybody found food?" "No." Some of the team sprinted at the start out of habit, and now their hunger bars are dropping. One teammate is down to one and a half. The fix is to stop moving. Someone digs a staircase into the hill, and pikerize is told to get in the cubby and crouch so nobody stumbles onto them. "I guess your first episode will be waiting for your teammates to feed you," someone jokes. Basket's own hunger bar is nearly empty by the middle of the episode.
Down into the ravine
The staircase opens into a cave and then a big ravine with water, redstone and lava far below. Zombies stand on the ledges, and so do skeletons. The zombies are food, but getting to them means climbing down past the arrows. A skeleton lands a hit on someone, a pickaxe breaks, and a torch gets dropped. pikerize is carrying two seeds, and the team talks about planting them by water just in case.
Two players down
Chat then reports "pulse2010 was slain by Zombie." The server fills with "gg" lines, BasketMC's among them. Less than a minute later it happens again: "OjiiOtousan was slain by Zombie." momofminers types "noooooo." Both players are on Team Envy. "I think the dragon's gonna win," someone says.
The bounty
One teammate decides to go down after a skeleton and a zombie. The zombie wanders into the lava, the skeleton dies, and a creeper catches fire. The trip pays off: "I got two pieces of zombie flesh."
The team climbs down to the ravine floor and regroups. A piece of rotten flesh lands at Basket's feet. "There you go, MC." "Thank you." "That is the bounty of my expedition."
The server then posts "End of Day 2" and lists the players still in the game: fourteen names, with BasketMC, pikerize, Scoti_Garbidis and SodaShaman all there. The episode ends with Basket alive in the cave with the team, rotten flesh in the hotbar.
