Episode 7 of Inversion UHC Season 1 opens on the season card and the team cards, then drops Basket back into the mineshaft under the snow with eight and a half hearts. The trip out is rough. "Oh my god, that was terrible. Where am I going?" Zombies wait near the entrance, baby zombies among them, and some hearts go missing before Basket finds the way up. "Oh, it's morning."
Back to the corner
Up top it is snowing. Mitzify is along, nameplate at 9 / 20 HP, and a creeper trails them for a while. Basket points at the bedrock wall again: "See how that's way too close?" Straight ahead is another wall, "and if you notice this is actually a corner." The supply count: "I have one apple and seven gold." One more gold ingot would make a golden apple.
The chat is busy. EdgeVenom asks "whos the biggest team?" and imGiftedx answers "me scoti and epic." A Pink Poncho player posts "hey're hunting me!", Scoti_Garbidis replies "No we arent," and Mitzify adds "still surprised that i havent died yet."
Arrows, then sand
Past the snow, in a rainy forest, Basket stops at a crafting table, turns planks into sticks, and lays out flint, a stick and a feather for arrows. Then the land changes. "Is that a ravine? Watch out." A swamp comes next, then sand. "Well, deserts equal awesome." The hope is a desert temple, though "that means probably somebody's already been here."
Two deaths to zombie pigmen
Just before nine minutes in, the third Pink Poncho player types "you'll never kill me!" Seconds later the chat reports that player slain by a Zombie Pigman. Mitzify, BasketMC, EPiC_HERO_NBK and EdgeVenom type gg, and that player signs off with "if i go down, you go down! muahahahaahaha!!!" before leaving the game. That was the last of Team Pink Poncho.
About a minute later it happens again: "Team 4: EPiC_HERO_NBK was slain by Zombie Pigman." Mitzify and BasketMC type gg, and EPiC_HERO_NBK leaves the game too.
A portal under the sand
Dusk sets in by the bedrock wall and a pool of lava. Then a shout on the call: "Wait, two people! Incoming!" One is "right below" and digging down. Basket follows a hole into the sand with the diamond pickaxe and finds a lit nether portal at the bottom. Out comes the water bucket. "Did you destroy the portal?" "I put it out."
Hearts lost in the dark
Back on the sand, now at night, a zombie closes in along with a red figure that shows no nameplate. Basket swings the iron sword, and the hearts drop from seven to four and a half. In the chat EdgeVenom asks, "guess whos in the health lead?" Then a surprise: "Oh, the portal's already re-lit." The new plan is "I'm gonna trap it then."
Digging in
The talk turns to apples and a place to sit out the night. "Do you think we should just camp out?" "Yeah, maybe dig down." Basket cuts a shaft down through the sand and into stone, with Mitzify close behind, still at 9 / 20.
The chat reads "140 Minutes Elapsed!" and Basket is alive and underground at four and a half hearts when the end card comes up. Nothing follows it.
