Episode 9 of Inversion UHC Season 1 opens on the team cards and the season logo, then drops Basket back in the cave next to the furnace with four and a half hearts. It does not last. Spiders come out of the dark, and a voice cries "I'm stuck, I'm stuck." The heart bar turns green, drains, and settles at half a heart. "Well, that kind of ruined our plan."
Where are they?
Mitzify is close by, nameplate at 5 / 20 HP. The chat history still shows Scoti_Garbidis slain by a zombie and "160 Minutes Elapsed!" from the last episode. Then EdgeVenom asks, "so, where u fellas at?" Mitzify answers with a location, and going by the talk on the call, it is not where they are. BasketMC types "need to grab an apple :D."
EdgeVenom comes back with "those cords lead me directly into a wall..." Mitzify asks "well do u see us?" and gets "nope lol." BasketMC adds, "yeah, the bedrock walls are all weird." Later EdgeVenom asks, "any way to get around them?"
One golden apple
Up top in a jungle and then a forest, Basket chops leaves and trees looking for apples. The inventory shows 12 gold ingots. "So just one apple." Then it happens: "Oh, an apple!" Basket lays eight gold ingots around the apple, crafts a golden apple, and eats it. The hearts climb back up from half a heart, with two golden ones on top.
A trap, then a hole
The next idea is an ambush. "I have eight gunpowder, so let's find some sand. We'll set up a trap." Basket crafts TNT from sand and gunpowder, then splits off to dig straight down with the diamond pickaxe. Deep in the stone, a furnace goes down and cobblestone turns into smooth stone.
When Basket climbs back out, it is night. Zombies crowd the forest, one of them pulling itself out of a hole. On the call: "We should wait till day."
Enchanting underground
Back underground, Basket tunnels through dirt and stone and finds Mitzify in a small room with furnaces. Whispers start coming in: "i have 6 diamonds so lets make the enchantment table," then "we could both make enchanted diamond swords," then "just enchant everything armour and sword."
A look at the Tab list shows only three names left: BasketMC at 4, EdgeVenom at 2 and Mitzify at 5. Basket holds out a golden apple, and soon after, Mitzify's nameplate reads 9 / 20.
An enchanting table goes down beside the furnaces. Basket now carries a diamond sword, enchants a book with Power I and a pair of iron boots with Feather Falling I, and whispers, "I can enchant with lvl 1 and what not." Mitzify whispers back, "enchant your bow." By the end, a teammate's armor glows, and so do Basket's sword and armor.
The chat reads "180 Minutes Elapsed!" and Basket is alive at two hearts, still underground at the enchanting table, when the end card comes up. On the call: "This is gonna be the last one, hopefully." Nothing follows the end card.
