Episode 80 opens inside the walls of the keep at Basket Castle. A secret tunnel leads into a small hidden room where someone could live inside the wall, maybe with a bed. What goes in it can wait, so it gets torches for now. Next to it is the room for the portcullis machinery, and stairs up to the next level. Basket is the only player seen in the game.
The royal tower
One back tower of the keep is going to be "sort of the king's area." Its door opens off the back corridor behind the throne room, and Basket may turn that door into a secret, or post extra guards there, so nobody can just wander in. The tower is small, but its stairs should be grand, since they are for royalty. After some tries Basket settles on switchback slab stairs that climb until they are level with the first floor of the tower. A shaft beside them will keep going down into the ground, "to wherever it goes, who knows."
Night falls with mobs all over, which leads to a question for the server: should fire spread be turned off? Basket says it is a common thing on vanilla servers and asks for opinions. A viewer mentions losing a parrot while putting out a forest fire.
A tour of Basket Castle
The walls go up with cracked bricks mixed in, windows get iron bars and stairs on the outside, and a dead end becomes a crossover point for the secret passages. Then a viewer asks for a tour.
It starts in the throne room and goes out past the front gate and its portcullis. Outside, the keep is still plain. "I'm gonna need to do some sort of styling." The stables wait for horses, and the barracks are empty, with a main hall and floors of sleeping quarters going up. A viewer suggests cannons. Basket thinks catapults, trebuchets and big ballistas fit the period better.
Down below are Fal Tavern, with a bar, and Fal Inn, whose rooms have nothing in them yet. "If you get this room and you're paying for it, you're just gonna have a floor." The library still needs more books and a secret section down to the portal. "Lots of stuff not done."
Ladders and arrow slits
Back at the keep, Basket crafts a pile of ladders, more than needed, and runs a secret ladder from the bottom all the way up the back wall. The royal tower keeps its six by six space, and the secret tunnel can cut back in later. Some corridors exist only so guards can shoot out of them, so their ceilings stay low. A viewer calls the layout complicated and maze-like. Basket agrees the stairs are confusing. "We'll eventually finish everything. It'll take a while."
Kitchen and storage
One floor could open out onto a royal dining area. A spruce fence goes around the drop so nobody walks off the ledge.
A tower section next to it becomes the kitchen, marked with a sign. Below it, reached by a ladder and then real stairs, is cramped food storage, with more planned deeper in the tower where it is cooler. The first storage sign goes up in lowercase. "I can't handle it." Signs follow everywhere: Storage, Throne Room, a viewing area, the stained glass window.
The dining hall
The last stretch lays out the dining hall: a royal door, the main table up front, other tables running out from it, and a path between the two sets of stairs. A balcony above looks down on the room, with birch stairs leading up to it and maybe a support beam across. Basket already counts four secret tunnels, which might merge. The upper space feels too big for its job, so it may get pulled back. "That'll be next time." The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
