Episode 115 picks up at the top of the northeast tower on Basket Castle, with the windows half done. By the end the tower has a new floor with a kitchen and a big set of stairs heading down toward its front door. Basket is the only player in the game; the in-game chat shows only the server's sleep and weather menu and its autosave lines.
Windows at the top
First job is finishing the windows, stairs and slabs set in the same shape all the way around. "I think that looks good. That's the pattern." Basket isn't fully sold: "I'm undecided if I like it or not, but we'll go with it for now." A run of them goes in backward ("This is all wrong. None of this is right, okay. Actually, one of those is right.") and gets fixed. In the end: "It looks pretty good."
This top floor is meant for "some sort of dining thing," with "big glass there eventually." A viewer calls it a favorite tower so far, and Basket agrees it's "definitely more unique," mostly because of the idea of big balconies and a big dining area up top. The other tower is supposed to be a barracks. This one might get some barracks space too, or cooking space.
A kitchen below
The steps get carried down to the next floor, and the floor goes in, which means crafting a lot more birch slabs. "We're gonna be making a lot of floor stuff." Since there's an eating gallery upstairs, this floor gets the kitchen. The side against the hill gets fewer windows, and the inner walls go one block in from the edge. "I guess this is a pretty big kitchen," so it gets split: a kitchen on one side, some other room on the other, and a single door between them.
Halfway through the walls the stone runs out, so it's a trip back to the base to restock. Back at the tower, one window gets skipped: "Too close to the thing. Somebody will scale the mountain, and then climb into the window." The kitchen gets its window on another wall.
Stairs down to the main door
"What did I forget? Something important. Stairs going down." The new flight starts right under the stairs from above, two blocks wide. The floor it reaches lines up with the walkways through the wall, and an opening there runs into the wall toward the "grain elevators sort of thing." That stays open for now, so Basket knows it's there if secret tunnels come later.
Below is the tower's main door, so defenses come up: trapdoors, maybe murder holes. Basket decides against them. "It's not the main keep, and there's all kinds of different ways to get in." The entry gets a larger opening with railings instead, and a room with higher ceilings. The outside of the tower waits for now, since Minecraft 1.13 is coming and the new blocks will change what things look like.
The stairs down get planned in halves: down part way, a platform, then a turn. A lot of dirt is in the way, and the shovel is nearly broken. "This is a very slow process when you're not using shovels."
A balcony with a secret door
Basket shifts the stairs over to make room for a bigger platform, so part of this level can be a floor and the rest an open entryway with a railing looking out over it. The balcony moves over too, leaving space for "a little bit of a balcony with a painting that lets you into the secret space." Paintings have been the go-to for every secret door so far, which might change if they get annoying.
By the end, snow is falling inside the open tower. "It's a very snowy castle." Later, Basket wants to go back over the lighting so the castle is safe at night and looks good, and maybe leave snow in a few spots. Then it's "it for today," and the credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
