The video opens on an "Aftermath Stream Archive" card dated 6/28/16 and titled "Super Pro Fishing." It's a one-hour lunchtime stream on the flooded skyscraper map, and Basket has a new plan: stop being reckless. "Last time we did this one I was slightly reckless, which maybe was more fun to watch, but it was kind of frustrating to play because I kept on just dying over and over."
Not quite a fight
Basket starts in a lit room that's already been picked over, with a bed, chests and a sign reading "Protect me, Squire!" Somebody else is in there. The nameplate says weirdwun, and Basket goes after them with a wooden sword. weirdwun doesn't swing back. In chat, weirdwun writes "I don't have anything lol," and Basket answers "I figured you just spawned" and "<3." Basket lets them go. "He was unarmed, that's why I went after him. If it was an armed person I would have just run away."
Up on the roof, Basket breaks leaves for saplings, makes a boat and rows off to a skyscraper that might not be looted yet.
A dead player's room
The new building has a spot where "somebody died over here," and the loot is still lying there, enchanting table included. Basket claims it as a base for now, stores the valuable stuff in a chest and takes a screenshot of the coordinates "just so that if I die I can try and come back here." Basket has also shrunk the game's UI "so that I don't get stream sniped as easily."
Then comes the careful part. Basket pulls up floor planks to make ladders and lays half slabs to stop spawns. "I just want to make this room safe because I want to not die this time around."
A roof with no dirt
The ladders lead to the roof. By then it's night, and Basket has no torches. A zombie in diamond armor is up there and takes a long time to kill. "That guy was resilient." The plan was to plant the saplings on the roof, but there's no dirt to plant them in. "This is a poor, poor plan." Basket climbs back down to the safe room.
17madman finds Basket
Back inside, a nameplate appears in the hallway: 17madman. Earlier in the session the chat history showed 17madman promising "ill see u in game" and "AND ILL REKT U." In person the terms are different. "dont worry," "i wont kill u," "IF," "u mention me," "say im the best." Basket, down to one heart and no food, writes "You're the best, do you have dirt and/or food?" The answer is "hmm no." Then 17madman asks Basket to say that 17madman and munromanning are the best, "OR ULL DIE."
munromanning is on the server too, and has a rough hour: "A Zombie ate munromanning's brain!", "munromanning took the easy way down" and "munromanning fell to the hunger of the horde." A new player, hodgytv, joins the wasteland and soon "tried to be a fish." The chat also shows "[Bed] Your spawn was set to this bed."
Super pro fishing
17madman writes "plz dont kill me" and "we can be friends," then turns out to have a fishing rod. Basket asks "does fishing work well?" "yes," "it works like normal." Basket finds string, makes a rod and starts casting off a ladder on the side of the building. The fish keep coming. "Anyone that thought about farming, you thought wrong." "Yes, I got a name tag." Near the end Basket is going for "a full two stacks" of fish. 17madman sends "eat the fish I gave u so u can heal," and later, "and if I wanted I could have killed u."
To finish, Basket cooks the fish in a furnace, burns a log into charcoal, hands over some fish ("there's some fish for you") and takes the enchanting table along "in case the bad guys come and they take everything." By the end of the stream, nobody has been backstabbed. The credits run to the end of the video with no gameplay after them.
