The video opens on an "Aftermath Stream Archive" card titled "I'm Bad Alone." It's a short lunchtime stream, and the last one on the flooded skyscraper map. Basket logs into the PvP world. "Our buddy 17madman is not in the server right now."
A sign that says Basket lives here
Basket spawns in a stone-floored room full of chests, next to a bed Basket thinks is the one set as spawn last time. A sign has gone up since then: "Basket Munro Manning is friends with me and lives here." "Wow, they've been busy."
The chests are packed. "I guess when you kill people you get their head." Basket isn't sure how much borrowing is fair on a chaos server, but takes some armor anyway. The tooltips show iron boots with Projectile Protection II and iron leggings with Fire Protection II. There's no lapis for the enchanting table, so that waits.
Clearing the building
The building is only partly safe. Basket makes torches from the coal in the chests and starts lighting rooms. "There's a zombie somewhere in here." Then a baby zombie. "I should really make a shield." The zombies here wear full iron or chain, and they win. The first death comes before nine minutes. The bed spawn works ("[Bed] Your spawn was set to this bed"), but the second trip ends the same way. Each death leaves a grave sign where Basket fell: "[RIP] 01. Jul. cause of death: Slain by Horde."

Worse, Basket's sword didn't stay on the floor. "Oh no, he has my sword." Basket tries to lure it over and gets nothing back. "I can't believe that when they take your stuff when you die they don't give it back."
The Splinter
Back at the chests, Basket gears up again. One wooden sword in there is called The Splinter: Sharpness X, with a red line that reads "Chance to hurt your self when hitting another player." Basket ends up with gold swords, which don't last. "Yep, there goes my sword."
The new plan is to start at the roof and work down, torching every floor. "It seems like they're spawning in even when things are fairly lit."
Skeletons
Skeletons are the next problem. "These skeletons are cheaters." "I can't block with my sword. Stupid Minecraft. Changing the rules." The third grave sign says "Cause of death: Lethal Shooting." The bed spawn has a one-minute cooldown, so dying too fast is a problem: "otherwise I'll spawn somewhere else."

A thunderstorm rolls in, another skeleton finds Basket, and that's death number four. When Basket finally gets back to the spot, the gear is gone. "My sword's gone, all my armor's gone."
Bad alone
That's where the title comes from. "I think I'm not very good at the server unless I have a team. This is really tough." Basket passes another grave sign, this one "Blown to Bits," and dies a fifth time to a skeleton. The stream ends with Basket back at the bed, waiting out the one-minute respawn timer so the spawn point sticks. Then the credits run to the end of the video with no gameplay after them.
