This short special sits between Episodes 1 and 2 of Hypermine Vanilla Season 1. Basket has a big block of redstone ore set up in town and mines out every bit of it with a Fortune III pickaxe. By the end it is night and the block is gone.
A block of redstone ore
The video opens with Basket in full diamond armor standing on top of the block, the camera looking back across it at houses, trees and the town. "This is a big block of, it's 8x8x5 redstone ore." It sits beside a house with a dark roof, with a stone path running past and a pair of chests next to it, in case the inventory fills up partway through.
The time-lapse
First a look at the inventory. It is empty apart from the hotbar, and hovering over the pickaxe shows its name, Fast FortunePick, with Fortune III, Efficiency V and Unbreaking III. "Let's go ahead and do a time-lapse."
The pick goes to work from the top down, and redstone dust sprays out of every block. The sky goes from blue to sunset to dark while the block shrinks, with a stop at the chest to empty out.
Where it ends
"All right, so that is all the redstone." It is night now. Basket stands in the yard with the pickaxe in hand, chests and torches around, and the block is nowhere in the shot. The video fades out to the end cards.
