Basket starts this one a little lost. "I lost track of the episode," for a start, and then there's the bigger problem: "I am a little bit lost in terms of finding where base camp is or at least the surface." Behind a wall of cobblestone sits a cave full of spiders. Basket has fought one of them already, and "it took me down quite a bit," so the plan is to leave them alone. "Poison is a little bit too strong." What Basket does have is iron: "Lots of iron already cooked up and then lots of other iron."
Back through the mineshaft
Heading away from the spiders leads back into the mineshaft. A torch turns up that Basket doesn't think is theirs, then one that might be, and finally the room from last episode, where Basket had "covered up the top." The inventory is full, so the spider eyes go. Basket wants to get up to the base and maybe dig a proper mine, because this one "is great for iron and railroad tracks" but isn't deep enough for diamonds.
Two skeletons at once
A skeleton gets stuck in a corridor and Basket goes after it. "Oh, you're stuck. There you go." Then there are two of them. "Oh no, shoot, I wasn't planning on two." Basket fights them between the wooden supports, and once it's over it's "time to eat, heal up a little bit." Basket grabs more rail track on the way past, to "use them eventually."
More iron than you know what to do with
The iron keeps coming. "So much iron." Then, a bit later: "More iron than you know what to do with." Basket is already thinking about where it could go. Hoppers "are cool, but they are iron hogs," and if a spawner ever turns up, Basket wants "some sort of item sorter along with it," maybe one that sorts out bones and arrows if it's skeletons. Food is starting to be a worry too: "Pretty soon I'll have to go up and get some more food actually." The Ender Dragon comes up as well. Basket isn't sure how fighting it alone "will really go once we actually get to that point," and figures on brewing "a lot of potions."
Emeralds and gold
Deeper in, a new ore shows up. "Oh, emeralds. Emeralds and gold." There's no room left to carry it all, so Basket throws out the lapis, "since there is no use for it," and a spare bow.
Three furnaces go down on the cave floor and the iron goes in. The gold stays as ore for now, "in case I get some more gold then it'll stack nice." Once the iron is done, Basket crafts some of the ingots into blocks of iron at a workbench to free up space. "There'll be a couple less stacks."
Where are the zombies coming from?
Basket picks the furnaces back up and keeps exploring. The plan now is to "work our way to the surface," drop off supplies and start "a regular sort of mineshaft to get some diamonds." A passage turns out to be a dead end, then Basket finds a mineshaft corridor that is "very buried." Zombies keep showing up while Basket is trying to place torches, and Basket wants to know where they're coming from. One of them is standing in a pool of water. "Aww, he's taking a bath. What a nice guy."
Basket mines a little more by the water and ends the episode there, alive, still underground, with base camp still unfound.
