Basket has one goal this time. "Today we're gonna try and find a village." There's a pile of resources from the mineshaft and Basket would like to set up a base, "but I would prefer to do it in a village." No spawner turned up down there, "otherwise I might have stuck around there." With plenty of food on hand, even if it comes to "some raw pork," Basket feels fine sprinting around to look.
Plains, jungle, swamp
The plains don't turn anything up. Then it's jungle, then swamp. Basket doesn't think swamps have villages, though they are "pretty nice and flat" for getting through to somewhere else. So the search goes into sped-up footage: grass, snowy forest, sand.
When the speed drops back to normal there's still no village, "obviously," but Basket "did find lots of chickens, some cows, and a pumpkin." Some ladders get thrown out to make room for it. "I'll need that pumpkin once we get to the end, way down the line."
Another desert temple
The pumpkins sit at the edge of a desert, and there's a desert temple in it. The last one Basket found had its hidden room already blown out, so the hope is "this one isn't all blown up." Basket blocks the entrance with cobblestone, "just so we don't get any unexpected surprises," and digs down. "Oh, looks pretty unharmed. I'm excited." The pressure plate on the floor is stone, which Basket counts as lucky: a wooden one "would make it tougher to get down there because you couldn't drop anything on it."
The chests hold bones and gold, and some TNT that Basket decides to keep, which means sticks get dropped to fit it in. "What a good find." Then it's back to looking.
A plateau with waterfalls
More sped-up wandering, and still no village. What Basket does find is an extreme hills biome, and from the top of a tall pillar it looks good. "I think I want to build actually on this plateau." Basket likes "the natural waterfalls that are happening off of" it, and that it overlooks desert on one side and extreme hills on the other. The plan is a first "more robust camp" up there, "maybe a little building."
Getting down safely comes first, and the pickaxe is running low. "Should have made another one." Somewhere along the way the pig hunt ended too: "once I finally got to 64 raw pork, I decided to just let them live. So, lucky for them."
Lighting up the new spot
On top there are already pigs, no trees (Basket has saplings) and a lot of ground to cover with torches before it's creeper proof. If a village turns up later, it could still fit in: Basket could bring villagers over, or "just build a railroad track going over to the village" to trade. The worry is size: "It is a little bit big though to defend."
Basket is "not seeing very many mobs," and guesses there are a lot of caves underneath. Then, at night, there they are: "some spiders and creepers and stuff down there." An arrow knocks Basket back. "Oh, wow. A knockback, or a punch bow." The cliffs are the other danger. "It's very tall and dangerous. I'll have to get an enchanting table up. Get some feather falling on my boots, before I kill myself."
Basket builds up again for "another tall look" at where the building should go: in the middle, or nearer the edge for the view, maybe with an enchanting room off to one side "and then connect it up." The episode ends there, at night, with Basket alive above the plateau and planning to "start building a house of some sort" next time.
