The guild that kept coming up during the orange wool run finally gets made. There's no dungeon in this one and no fighting, just a short ceremony. The nameplates on screen are johnfal_92, JJBonsig, dash10138, gothfaerie and WonderSim, and a player called TheMonarchAwaken, wearing an [AG] tag, walks everyone through the steps in chat.
Getting everyone in one place
The group meets up in a stone hall lined with little shrines. Early on, johnfal_92 drops "[BC]" in chat, and TheMonarchAwaken asks about a shortened name for tab, then announces they'll open the hall of kings.
On voice, somebody admits they didn't expect any of this to be so formal. Somebody else notices they have an audience. "We are being watched." There's a player outside the window.
On the red stones
The ceremony room has red nether brick pads around a central table, and the first job is standing on the right ones. Chat isn't impressed at first: "hey you guys are not on the red stones."
Getting there means a levitation pad, and that brings up old grudges. One of them stopped using those pads after losing inventory to them more than once. The worst was a first solo try at a dungeon, when the teleporters broke, they had to run back, and they lost everything. The mods' answer was more or less "oh, well."
Then it's picture time. People shuffle around looking for the right angle, and someone gets asked to take off their helmet and turn around. That doesn't work: it's a Warlock helmet, and it isn't coming off.
Say hello to BasketCase
Then the server announces it in chat: "A new guild has just been founded. Say hello to BasketCase! Congratulations! You have founded a new guild. May the gods grant you strength and prosperity!"
TheMonarchAwaken still needs to add the color and the shortened name. The guild tags over everyone's heads are a mess, though. Each person sees something different. JJBonsig crashes and comes back, and the tags still don't line up, so the guess on voice is that the tag display is client-based and has been glitched for a long time.
Plot 8
Next stop is the row of guild shrines. One now has two signs: BasketCase on top and Guild Plot 8 underneath. Clicking it makes a noise and some green sparkles. Nobody is quite sure what that did, though one guess is that you stand on it with somebody to join.
From there it's out into the city at night to find the actual plot. It's south, across the street from a giant building they deliberately chose not to sit right next to. "I'm gonna instantly forget where this is." They get in, and TheMonarchAwaken types "YES IT WORKS."
The plot is just grass for now, and the questions start right away: how far down does it go, and is there a basement? The tag still isn't showing by the end, but the guild exists. The episode closes with everyone thanking John for doing all the work.
