After a short teaser and the title card, the deaths sidebar reads Scoti_Garbidis 39 and BasketMC 32. Basket and Scoti head back into a room of wooden floors, stone and hanging vines. "Last time it was just a bunch of creepers in a hole." Not this time.
All silverfish
It doesn't take long. "Oh, this is probably all silverfish. Back up, back up, run." The plan is a special weapon: "We have to kill them with the pest control sword." The tooltip in Basket's hotbar names it Basic Pest Control. A creeper shows up below them too, and they start walling off openings with dirt. "Actually, we should change our blocky stuff with dirt."
The vines get in the way the whole time. "Oh, I got vines here. I broke the vines." Later one of them says, "I think I got caught up on some vines or something." The pest control sword is not quite the answer either: "One strike did not kill those things."
Creepers around the corner
The creepers are not done either. "There's multiple creepers in there, man." One of them plans to "take out this block right here and then this floor" to see what's under it, and it doesn't go to plan. "It's not opening up a hole like I want!" With a creeper "right around the corner," they back off in a hurry. "Back up, back up, run away, run away!"
Somewhere in the fight a sword gives out. "Oh! My sword broke!"
The pit
The silverfish pile up on the wooden stairs below them. "That's a lot of silverfish. Man, they jump pretty high." One of them stands at the edge and lets them come up one at a time. "Come on up here, get slapped around." Down in the pit there are far more than they thought. "There's a ton of them down here, dude."
Past the pit is a small room with a chest and a red bed. "There's a chest in here." They try to fight from a gap. "Make a little window, let's kill these dudes as they pass through one at a time."
Slain by Silverfish
Then it goes wrong. Chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Silverfish," and the sidebar ticks to 40. The explanation comes a moment later: "I was gonna cover that thing with dirt, and that's why I walked up there to hit it, and one of them jumped up and when it hit me I fell in."
"This room is safe except for the big pit with all your stuff in it." The plan for the dropped gear: "Next episode we'll go down there and get my stuff."
The way out
Basket heads back through a jungle clearing full of vines and red mushrooms to meet up. "It's like 13 minutes in." "13 minutes, it's a good length, man."
