Foul Mouth Joe: Ragecraft 2 Episode 87

  • Published on

The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 111 and BasketMC 83. Team B.S. is still in the cave of giant mushrooms and hanging vines where the last episode ended, and Scoti still has arrows sticking out of both sides. "Dude, you look like you got one of those joke things on where you got arrows coming out of either side of your head."

Spawners in the walls

The plan is to go slow. "Let's clear it over here first." Skeletons shoot from the ledges, and the water at the bottom is no help: "Oh, the water is bad. Water's bad." One of them reports, "I took out some spawners," and then finds more: "Oh, there's a creeper spawner." Working up the hill, the rule is to "go along the edges, 'cause there's gonna be spawners and stuff in the wall."

The Warlord

Then: "Whoa! There's a lot of guys to the left!" Among them is a mob tagged Reptilian Warlord. "Oh God, I'm gonna die. Oh, I'm down to three." Next comes "fall back, fall back, heal, heal, heal," and finally: "Okay, Warlord's dead, Warlord's dead." The verdict afterward: "The warlord died but he didn't drop anything."

Spiders from above

Next is a poison spider spawner nobody can find. "I still didn't see the poisonous spider spawner." "They dropped, they dropped from up there somewhere." "Where are they dropping from?" Soon it's "I'm gonna die" again, then "I'm out of arrows." One of them reaches for something else: "Oh wow, these things die fast when you use the wither potions." Then, "Oop, I found another spawner," and soon, "There's no more down here."

Loot and the Lucky Charm

With the room clear, they split the chests "one, two, three" at a time. Basket's screen shows a large chest full of gold with an Inquisitor's Sword in it, and a Reptilian Battleaxe with Sharpness III and Unbreaking X. "Oh, that thing doesn't break. Cool." Another chest holds golden apples and the item they came for: a small white star with the tooltip "Lucky Charm, Quest Item."

"Okay, so let's go back to Foulmouth."

Paying off Joe

Back on the sand by the houses, the trade window is labeled Foul-Mouth Joe: the Lucky Charm for four emeralds. "He gave you four emeralds." "I thought it was two." That's enough for a turn-in.

Emerald block and a new upgrade

At the monument, Basket slots in an emerald block next to a sign reading "Emerald Block #7." The chest holds an upgrade block and a sword called Rage of the Righteous: Sharpness III, Smite II, Knockback I, Unbreaking II, +6 Attack Damage.

In the upgrade room, there are two options. One sign is read out loud: it would "grant you a small shield, absorption, that is refreshed every 75 seconds" and works in multiplayer. The other is "being able to get iron ingots and flame from bad guys." They pick the shield, and the block goes on the pedestal signed "Upgrade: Divine Shield." Then they wait to see whether it works. "Find out next time!"

A short clip after the credits shows the two of them still standing at the pedestal. "Oh, there it goes."

The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 111 and BasketMC 83: no deaths for either of them, and none in the clip after the credits. Basket places one emerald block, and the upgrade block from its chest goes on the Divine Shield pedestal. No wool this episode.
