The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 122 and BasketMC 92. Team B.S. is still crossing the Crumbling Abyss on a raised clay path, and the only way to keep from starving is still to kill wolves for their saturation. It opens with a scramble for gear left near the edge ("My armor all gone? What happened?" "Well, you also blew up on the catwalk"), and soon the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis fell out of the world."
Out of wolves
Food runs short almost at once. One of them breaks a spawner on the way past and then worries about it: "I'm wondering if this spawner I took out was the wolf spawner." The middle wolf spot dries up ("our whole middle wolf thing is kind of done"), and a few minutes in the chat reads "BasketMC starved to death." Basket comes back with an empty hotbar, next to a chest in a stone brick room.
New wolves do turn up at a second spot. "I'm good at this getting the wolves in thing, man." Then one of them spots something ahead: "I see iron bars and a glass bridge." There's also a lit-up area, and a guess about it: "It's probably another wool hidden within."
Starving again
The wolves still don't come on schedule, and around ten minutes in Basket starves a second time. The death screen shows "BasketMC starved to death" and the sidebar ticks to 94. Then the chat shows "BasketMC Teleporting to: Crumbling Abyss," and Basket gears back up. One loss stings: "I can't believe I lost that sharpness axe you gave me."
The lit-up room
The lit-up area turns out to have company. "There's a witch," and soon after, Basket's effects list shows Poison. Then: "Charged creepers over here, run away." Bricks go up around them, a spawner hole gets blocked off ("put a block in there"), and they find "a couple chests."
The haul is better than expected. One chest, full of cobwebs, holds Icebound Boots with Protection II, Projectile Protection II and Feather Falling III. An emerald ends up in Basket's inventory too.
The book from the other chest is the real prize: "That's a sharpness five, knockback seven, plus speed boost book." Basket's inventory names it Spell: Arctic Gust, a Legendary Magic Spell.
Running on fumes
After that it's the same loop: build forward, run back for a wolf, build forward. They run out of clay and switch to whatever is on hand ("I'm gonna make some snow blocks here"), plus wood one of them brought along for a bridge. "You make the bottom and I'll make the sides."
The hunger rules aren't even consistent. "I don't have hunger over here, are you serious? Don't tell anybody." Near the end things get tight again ("I'm gonna die. No!" "I'll save you, Basket!"), but nobody goes down, and they call it there. Nothing plays after the credits.
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 123 and BasketMC 94. Scoti dies once (fell out of the world) and Basket dies twice (starved both times). No wool, emerald blocks or upgrade blocks are placed.
