Basket and Scoti come back in the middle of the fight they stopped on last time, at the village library. "It was probably not a tactical advantage to stop the episode in the middle of that." The guess going in is that whatever they need is at the bottom of the library. It's a short one, about fifteen minutes, and the counter stays at 1 for Scoti and 0 for Basket the whole way.
Lava at the door
The mobs try to path around by going outside, and a bunch of them just jump off the edge. Inside there are bones and arrows everywhere, and an emptied chest turns out to have held a "magical breastplate." One of them hands it over, since the other isn't wearing a chestplate at all, and it comes with a speed boost. "I saved all the good stuff for you, man."
A crowd is hiding by one door, so lava goes down there and the plan is to knock them into it. Then two creepers show up, then lots of creepers, and it's back through the door.
Silverfish in the walls
A lot of the floor and walls in one room are diorite, and the room is full of silverfish. Some spawn right inside it. "Oh, that's gonna go in the highlight reel." One of them carries a Bane of Arthropods sword, which helps, and they close the door behind them to heal up.
Down the stairs
There are stairs going down, and creepers on them. "I feel like we've been in this situation before." "Every episode." A pickaxe breaks, and a spare helmet changes hands. One of them suggests jumping into a hole that is "totally not safe," and someone builds a quick wall behind them, because the mobs up top are jumping off the roof to get at them.
Then they charge. Creepers and a creeper spawner are on the right. Back in the left corner is where the corrupted villagers keep coming from, and one of them finds that spawner and takes it out. The Bane of Arthropods sword is "about toast already." Someone has no boots on, so the other crafts a pair, and coal and torches change hands too.
Fire in the library
Basket's hotbar has Dalron's Magic Wand, and the mobs it hits tend to catch fire. "This thing is nice because I can reuse it, but it also takes a while to kill the guys." Somewhere in the maze of bookshelves there's what sounds like a Corrupted Librarian, and one of them ends up on fire. "Oh, I'm so in trouble." The verdict on the flame weapon: "You set those guys on fire and they don't die, and then you got guys who are on fire hitting you." Mobs run in and out of doors like "some kind of Scooby-Doo episode," and an axe breaks too.
Feather Falling
At the back is a chest and a sign: "You will need at least one of these books in order to progress to the next level." The books are Enchanted Books of Feather Falling IV. They wonder about leaving one behind, but they might both need one, so the other gets asked "Did you take one?" "Yeah."
One of them keeps thinking they won't get to take any of this stuff with them. "I'm a pessimist, you're an optimist." They meet at the front door and plan to sprint home with the books so they don't die and lose them, and end the episode there.
