Basket and Scoti open the episode in good spirits. "We're gonna beat this level. We're totally gonna kill everything." Between episodes Basket has been building grinders and farms, so they're stocked on food and arrows, and there's now a cobblestone generator back home, which explains all the cobble. The death counter reads 1 for Scoti and 0 for Basket, and it doesn't move.
Two buildings by the library
The plan is simple: take out a couple of buildings near the library first, then go into a big opening in the side of the mountain next to them. They sprint up, light the place up and split the spawners between them. A chainmail skeleton is "a little rough." A corrupted zombie villager shows up behind one building, and the spawner inside turns out to be a corrupted villager spawner, which explains where it came from.
The chests give up a pickaxe and a Bane of Arthropods sword. On Basket's screen it's Pest Control, Bane of Arthropods III. That's about to matter.
Into the cave
The opening in the mountain is a spider cave. Cobwebs everywhere, a spider pit, and spiders that track them in the dark. One of them kills a spawner and gets told to keep running, because there's a poisonous one right behind. A poison spider spawner was hiding right behind a chest. One of them suggests saving the Bane of Arthropods swords for the spiders and silverfish. A creeper goes off with "a big boom," an enderman wanders past, and they keep falling back to heal.
The emerald in the pit
There's an emerald down below, at the bottom of a pit full of webs. Basket pours water down to wash out some of the cobwebs. "That sort of worked." A silverfish block breaks open by mistake. Skeletons shoot from somewhere they can't see, and poison spiders keep turning up under the bridge.
The emerald sits in a chest down there, and Basket takes it. Then they retreat, leave the junk in a chest by the entrance and find out they're out of torches. They also remember they've been carrying antidotes the whole time. A quick coal run later, they're back at the bridge.
Rush the bridge
"Come on man, we got to rush this bridge." There are holes all over it. Skeletons with a magic bow are the first priority, and there's a spawner behind them. More spawners sit up the hill, including a creeper spawner. There's a quick mix-up over whether "up the hill" meant the stairs.
A Bane of Arthropods sword breaks. They work out that antidote shows up as the blue potion. Two skeletons with magic bows get stuck in cobwebs on the ground, which helps. Then one of them notices they're fighting with no armor on, and that's where the episode cuts off.
