The episode opens in a chest room in Mount Cinis, with last episode's legendary weapon still being sorted out. The death counter opens at Scoti 56, Basket 46.
Svarog's Verdict
One of them just made a cool sword, so the other can have the cool bow. It's Svarog's Verdict, and the tooltip is a threat.
Its arrows set every enemy around them on fire, at the cost of 25% speed while you hold it. A spare Power bow goes in the chest too. A nearby chest by the lava looks trapped, but it only holds a fire resistance potion. "Now we go save the day, win the game."
Friends and Volcano
Back at the volcano's rim, with the gear on: "Friends or Volcano? Friends and Volcano!" A book there offers help: "If you're having trouble finding all pieces of lava diving gear, flip to the next page." They skip it.
There are blocks far below, so the plan is to land in the lava to break the fall. One of them guesses the armor will trigger a teleport partway down. Before jumping, one of them leaves a good bow in a chest: "If I make it, will you bring it along?" The landing works out. "I'm not burninating either." At the bottom there's obsidian and a glass room sitting in the lava. They put down blocks that won't burn, pour some water, and swim up and out.
The Gray Crystal
At the monument, the Gray Crystal goes into its slot, with a little "performance anxiety" on the way.
That's 8 of 16 crystals.
The Volcanoblade
Mount Cinis isn't finished, so they go back for the part they skipped. There's a chest on a rail up top, two TNT spawners to shoot out, and bow mobs that want to knock them into the lava. Baby pigs and pumpkin-headed mobs wait farther in. Past a blaze spawner is a chest that holds a legendary weapon.
The Volcanoblade adds 11 attack damage and gives Resistance while you hold it. "It's got BasketMC written all over it." There's an iron pick now, too.
Ghasts and gravel
A ghast spawner they never dealt with sits up on a tower, with creepers on the way. Somewhere in there a sword breaks ("son of a gun"), and an iron backup comes out. A water bucket ends up "in the middle of the volcano," and one of them gets withered but lives. Three or four more spawners get charged and taken out.
Then comes a hallway with a gravel floor and glass on top. They tiptoe across the glass, sure it's a trap. "It's just funny that this is probably not trapped at all, and we just don't trust this map." It leads to a new intersection.
A new intersection
A jungle cave with a lake and a waterfall in the middle. Swimming up the waterfall teleports them, "through space and time," into what one of them calls "Nexus 2.0."
Quest two pays a permanent 20% health boost for Blightroot, Brimstone and Bloodflower. Dalron trades gold for healing, absorption, strength and fire resistance potions, so "gold is important now." Quest three pays five emeralds for wrecking the summoners' quarry, coal mines, redstone mines and food storage, then reporting to Janus. Quest one is nowhere to be found.
The Temple Master welcomes them to the Temple of Light, "one of the last places that is pure and free of corruption," hands out a blessing, and calls the old prophecies "a bunch of nonsense." There are blacksmiths that trade iron for lapis, a chest with a good shovel, an Absorption III potion, golden apples and an Efficiency III axe, and a ghast somewhere they can hear but not see. They find the teleporter and call it there.
Nobody died. The counter closes at Scoti 56, Basket 46. Crystals stand at 8 of 16, and emerald blocks stay at 5 of 12.
