Cursed Blood: Ragecraft 3 Episode 127

  • Published on

Reeking River goes on, and so does the search for the old witch's name. There's a building up ahead they want to reach without walking through the water, so the plan is to dig. "Just cuz you don't like it doesn't mean it won't be fun." The counter reads Scoti 78, Basket 73.

Top down is not a good idea

The tunnel comes out a little higher than planned, right on top of the building. "We're a little higher than we need to be but this works." Then: "We're cursed." Below them is a building full of small mobs, and a creeper spawner sits right outside the front door, already active. "All right, top down not a good idea."

So they try it "the old-fashioned way," from the ground. There's a witch spawner in there somewhere, and a witch watching them through a window.

Cursed Blood

One of them goes inside first. "I'm inside the building, don't come in. I'm gonna just swing like crazy." It goes fine for about a second. "Everything's okay. Oh, I lied. Everything is not okay."

In the chest is an item called Cursed Blood, a "Rare Crafting Material." They remember that items like this get traded for upgrades, "like for the super bow and things like that." What to do with it starts an argument. One of them wants to leave it until the way back. The other grabs it. "You shouldn't take it with you into combat." It goes back in the chest, with a job attached: "I charge you with remembering."

Charged creepers come in from behind, a charged creeper spawner turns up next to some diamonds, and one of them gets the building's emerald before they get out.

The Imperial Crown

The next buildings have spawners for the small diamond-armored zombies. "These guys are dropping the lapis." A chest there has a Protection IV, Unbreaking III book, experience bottles, and a helmet.

It's the Imperial Crown, with Protection IV, three more protections and +20% max health, and it ends up in Basket's inventory. "Wow, this helmet is awesome." There's also a hunter's bow, Power IV and Unbreaking III. "No infinity." Another Cursed Blood turns up in a different building, and that one goes into the chest "with the other cursed blood."

A lake that goes nowhere

Behind the buildings is a big dark lake. A path that looks like it leads somewhere doesn't. "Maybe there was going to be more to this level and then he was like, no." They grab some diamonds with a Fortune pick, then cut across the water to the islands. Boats come up, but blocks are faster.

The third syllable

The far side has creepers with bottles on their heads, more charged creepers in the trees and a witch that "has a lot of friends." Those creepers leave them with mining fatigue, so one spawner can't be broken. The gas from the new bow does work on the witch. "Oh yeah, I got her with the gas." The witch keeps healing, but eventually: "You actually got her."

Chest screen with the tooltip "RI: The third syllable of a mysterious name. This item is required in order to complete this area."

On top of a glass structure sits a chest with another note, this one named "RI": "The third syllable of a mysterious name." That's a problem. They have the first one, A, and now the third. "We missed the second syllable somewhere." Nobody knows where. "We'll find it."

Nobody dies. The counter ends at Scoti 78, Basket 73. The monument isn't shown, so the totals carry over: 13 of 16 crystals and 9 of 12 emerald blocks.
