The magenta wool comes out of the Tower of Light in this one, and it costs them. The death counter starts at Basket 35, Scoti 21 and ends at 37 and 23, so two deaths each. "Man, this is too many deaths." "Yeah. That's the name of this episode."
Back for the gear
It opens on a creeper and a box of gear. Nothing survived the last trip, so whatever was being carried is gone. There's an Enderman around and a horde on the way. One of them heads down "to draw fire and light up everything" with three haunches of food and two and a half hearts. The other one wants to stop messing around: "Let's go back and get that wool, man."
They find a skeleton spawner in the room and keep it, lit up "like crazy." There's obsidian at the bottom of a room they blocked off a couple of episodes ago, and that's where they're going.
Silverfish
Before heading in, a crafting bench goes down for more swords. "I feel like I don't have enough backup swords." Then silverfish show up. "Make sure you kill him at one time and don't break any blocks." Too late. They've made a way in.
A little after five minutes the chat reads "BasketMC was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Scoti_Garbidis" and then "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Silverfish." Nobody is sure how the first one happened. "How did I burn you to a crisp? I didn't have a flame sword." The best guess is a bump in the silverfish fight and then fire.
On the way back down, someone says "Thank you, Basket, you're my hero." The answer: "Don't ever say that again."
The Light Paladins again
The gear is down in the room, and a barrier keeps the mobs stuck in there, except for silverfish. Mobs spawn while they're inside, so it has to be quick. The inventory check is thin: a Power II bow that's about half dead, a regular bow, a stack of potatoes. "We'll try and keep spawners if we can. I know how much you don't like that."
Around nine minutes the chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Light Paladin" and "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Light Paladin." "Those flame swords are pretty mean."
The fleecy box
The third try goes better. They block the way off behind them, hand around pants and a knockback sword, and pass a bow and arrows across. One of them nearly shoots the other. Then: "A fleecy box!"
There's a spawner inside that they can't break, and more silverfish. "Don't break this, don't break it." They torch it up instead and open the chest on a count of three. It's full of magenta wool. "I thought it was gonna be like a big labyrinth of craziness."
Putting the wool to bed
They leave a little wool behind in case they die on the way home. The anvil comes with them. The crafting bench stays, and so do the bookshelves, for later. Then it's straight across and back to the safe house to put the wool in the box. "We're gonna put the wool to bed." "We grabbed more magenta wool than ever this time."
They sign off by asking for advice in the comments. "And I know you do."
