This one is a half episode, and Basket plays it alone. It's housekeeping: go back for secrets the team walked past, then build a grinder. Nobody dies. The death counter reads Basket 42, Scoti 24 from start to finish.
Secrets they walked past
Basket has been watching another team's videos of this map, but only for areas Team B.S. has already cleared, so nothing gets spoiled. That team found things Basket and Scoti missed, and Basket wants them "for continuity."
The first one is up a waterfall. At the top a hidden room has a set of signs from Amlup: "I'm putting this here purely because I feel bad when you guys climb waterfalls for nothing. I guess I'm just reinforcing your bad habits."
Basket isn't sure the chest is safe ("I think it's trapped"). A dispenser goes off, which turns out to be fireworks called Old Glory. "That scared me."
The Pronged Dagger
Over a second chest, another sign says "If you don't find this you deserve that stick." That chest has the item Basket came for: a Pronged Dagger with Sharpness III and Looting I. Basket has been using the Looting swords that the coal mine mobs drop, but they keep wearing out. The hope is that this one won't lose durability, which would make it a Looting weapon worth keeping.
The same stash has an Anti-Projectile Hauberk (Projectile Protection IV, Unbreaking II) and a Lucky Potion that gives Speed, Strength and Invisibility along with Instant Damage. "Some of these potions are really odd." A second missed spot nearby has wood and potatoes, and Basket takes all of it.
Building the grinder
Then it's back to the Scorched Underpass. Basket picks a killing spot and lays out the plan. The fiery mobs drop rotten flesh, sticks and Efficiency I books, and Basket thinks they'll drop Azarian gems too. One skeleton spawner puts out skeletons holding a brick and wearing fire protection chain pants.
The rotten flesh is the point. Water elevators carry the mobs up, and Basket wants the zombie side on its own shaft with a switch, so they can be dropped to their deaths instead of hit. That means a pile of flesh to trade with the villagers for steak. There are no sticky pistons, though regular ones can be made.
The build itself runs as a sped-up montage with music.
Counting the haul
After "a couple hours" of running it, Basket sorts the loot by hand. Comparators would sort it automatically, but they don't have any yet. One chest is all rotten flesh. Others hold hazard boots and leggings, burnt sticks turned into ladders, chain boots with Protection I, chain leggings with Fire Protection I, iron, and a lot of gems. One of the scorched swords is "the next level up": a Blazing Slab with Sharpness II and Fire Aspect VI.
The gems bought a bunch of leather tunics, and Basket restocked the death chest with them. The rotten flesh came back from the villagers as a chest of "continuity steak." Basket also built a brewing stand. With no nether wart they can't brew anything new, but glowstone and redstone let Basket make some of the potions they have stronger or longer lasting. Then it's back to the main adventure.
