The episode opens at the monument with a magic trick. "We have discovered an evil incantation!" They count to three, mess it up, and try again until one of them gets it: "Wilson, I have made fire!" The death counter reads Basket 47, Scoti 43, and it doesn't move all episode.
Three more pieces on the monument
Then the real business. The cyan wool from last time goes up, along with two blocks. The iron block came from the mushroom area, "on top of that one platform with the poison dropping guys." Basket does the gold, found in the half episode right before this one.
That leaves six wools and a diamond block to go. Hypercharged is done, so they're off to find out what's in its basement. "I'm guessing an intersection, but I don't really know."
Not done with the bad guys
They were wrong about it being easy. "I thought it was like, 'Ah, found a fleecy box, time to end the level.'" The basement is more dark obsidian, more hypercharged creepers, and more of the ones carrying TNT. One of them hits an arrow that comes right back off a creeper.
There are spawners on both sides, three of them in one spot. Iron bars behind them have lava underneath. They throw up walls and bridges, and the creepers climb on top of those too. Somebody pushes all of somebody else's blocks down the lava hole. "Sorry." "It's alright." Later one of them fires a flame arrow and admits it "screwed us up."
The water trick
The fix is water. Basket pours a bucket on the floor so the creepers get pushed back. These ones are faster than normal creepers, so they can fight the current a bit, but at least, as one of them notes, their blasts don't do as much damage. "That water's really helping." "It's actually a brilliant idea."
They move the water up a layer at a time and pick off the spawners as they go. "Okay, I think I got the spawner." Then another. One room has creeper spawners with a strange explosion effect on the floor, and they go back and forth over whether to wait or just rush in and light it up. In the end they drink regeneration, kill the water and charge.
Intersection-y
On the far side, the cave opens into a tall hall with lava falling down the walls. "Isn't this an intersection?" "This feels intersection-y." There's a skeleton, and a button.
The button sign reads "Quick Travel: Traveller's Respite (Two Way)." It takes them back to the room with their staircase, which means they don't have to rebuild any stairs or move their death chests. There's a treasure chest too, but they leave the new area for next time. "If you're mad right now, you have to blame Basket."
The last bit is a glitch. Standing in the same room, neither one can see the other. "Wow, you're invisible!" They walk to opposite sides until they pop back into view, and call it there.
