Aura(bolt) the Explorer's Torches: Untold Stories 3 Episode 35

More of the Forlorn Legacy village, done the way they planned: over the roofs, never through the streets. It is a quieter episode, with a strange haul at the end.

Everything went blank

It opens on a scare. Something drops on one of them, and in the moment everything went silent and blank in his brain. The fix is more light, since if they die they will be coming back through here.

Up a tree by a chest there is a mob, and soon an Enderman who is very upset with someone. Neither of them thinks he looked at it. The advice is to stand in the water until it resets, which it refuses to do. Then there is the squid farm they made, which has already given three ink sacs.

Don't fall in

The plan from last time holds: the streets stay dark as the honey pot, so the walkways above have to be very, very safe. If anyone gets bumped down there, they just die. It is the same thing in every map they play, one of them points out. They make the ground super dangerous, somebody falls in, and the other says I told you not to fall in there. I did my best.

They talk through a route, agree on it, and congratulate each other. Glad we figured it out together. We're the best. Don't forget to put torches on the walkways behind me when I forget.

Ten axes

One of them realizes he should not be using the cool axe to cut into buildings, so he asks for cobble to make a plain one. Can I have all the pieces? No. He is going to make ten axes.

Inside, a creeper spawner and a skeleton spawner, and then the game freaks out and one of them cannot move because the other is somehow inside his space. Don't blame me for your mistakes, comes the answer. That's my job. A safe room gives up a Lure III book, a golden apple and an instant health potion. Upstairs, spiders. Regular or poisonous? Regular, and you can tell by how he pronounces them.

A chest they already checked turns out to have ocelot eggs in it. Those might be useful in a grinder of some kind, so they come along.

The house of labeled chests

Across a tree, by way of a jumping puzzle, there is a house full of labeled chests, most of them full of junk. The redstone chest has not a piece of redstone in it. There is a Smite III book, a pork chop, an iron sword, and enough coal to combine into blocks.

And two torches with a name: Aura(bolt) the Explorer's Torch, Fire Aspect III, and holding one in your offhand grants Night Vision. The catch is that the offhand is where a shield goes. One of them would rather have a shield, except he does not have one anymore, and they are waiting on an anvil before making more.

Best bridger

On the way out, a cake gets thrown away, with an apology. The sponge houses look like they are next. Someone is the best bridger and wants that on his resume. Then it is the end of the episode.
