Day four of the second attempt starts in the caves under the mushroom biome. Basket has four name tags and one job before any witch can get a name: "my objective right now is to get a bunch of iron for the anvil." Down here, it should be quiet. "These caves should be pretty empty, except for I guess bats."
Down for iron
Basket grabs coal, then hits a dead end and digs down. "I don't really want to show you my coordinates, so I will skip that." The plan is to keep going "trying to find some more iron and some other goodies, maybe more diamonds." Basket listens for caves, hears water, and breaks into a new cave that drops a long way. Iron comes out of the walls, then gold, then redstone. The redstone matters too. Basket wants it for the witch's house.
Basket does the anvil math on the way: "three times nine is twenty-seven, plus four." It turns out to be less than Basket remembered. "I thought it was more for some reason."
Four diamonds
Then: "Oh yeah, diamonds. Sweet!" They sit next to a small lava pool on an obsidian floor. Basket clears out cobblestone to make room and mines them.
Four isn't enough for an enchanting table. "But I can make boots or a pick and a jukebox." Basket goes with the pick and the jukebox, "because then my witch wife will be able to listen to some music." With the inventory filling up, Basket follows the torches back out.
Night at camp
It's night up top, and Basket expects the mushroom biome to stay safe. It does. "Some cows. That's pretty safe, okay cool." A mooshroom wanders around the camp chest while Basket loads the furnaces with iron ore.
Basket crafts the diamond pickaxe, then the jukebox, "get some music going while we're up here working." Next come two shovels and an axe. Basket chops down a couple of giant mushrooms and flattens the top of the rise to make room for the house. "It's weird not having any mobs around."
The anvil
The redstone has a job. Basket wants a way to open and close the house without the witch getting a shot in: "so that I can get her inside the house and then close it up so I can work on the front of it... without her throwing a bunch of potions on me." Then the iron check. "Do I have enough? Yep." Basket turns the ingots into iron blocks, crafts the anvil, and opens it with the name tags in the inventory. The witch doesn't have a name yet, and Basket doesn't expect to catch one this episode: "I'll build this first."
Laying out the house
The tree farm is earning its keep. Basket chops an oak, makes a new axe because the old one is "about to break," and plants more saplings. Then the foundation goes in, counted out loud block by block, starting with the back wall. Basket might add "a little yard area" and stretch the house out later for more room, with birch planks for the floor.
The sun comes up before the walls do. "Actually, the sun's coming up. I think I'm going to end the episode here." Basket switches to third person for one last picture by the house site.
Basket is alive, with an anvil, a diamond pickaxe and a house outline on the rise. Still no witch. The credits roll after that, with no gameplay after them.
