Day three of Nether Adventure opens in the middle of a chase. "I was separated from you guys." The chat shows lostinthefort joining the game, and the player list has all four of Team ScoOpBaLo on: optimus1971, Scoti_Garbidis, BasketMC and lostinthefort. They are still living out of their inventories, and the fortress they need is still nowhere in sight.
Two of them
The ghasts are waiting. "Oh, there's two of them." "Whoa, what do you mean there's two of them?" One hangs beside a lavafall while zombie pigmen wander underneath. The team scrambles until someone can say "We have everybody," and the plan stays the same: "We're gonna keep on trying to head as far south as we can."
Glowstone and stone picks
There is a short break to make food and grab glowstone. "Somebody pick up all that glowstone." Then it is back to walking, and the mood turns. "Dude, why do we not see a fortress?" "I believe others have found the fortress already."
The stone pickaxes are wearing out from all the digging. "I'm gonna break my pickaxe here in a second." Soon one goes, and later another. Nobody has a clock, so nobody knows how long they have been out either. The only rule left is simple: "Our goal is to travel in the straightest line possible."
Tried to swim in lava
A message pops up in chat from optimus1971: "tried to swim in lava." For a moment it reads like the worst news possible in hardcore. It is not. Basket follows with a /me message, and the chat shows "* BasketMC tried to swim in lava" with a star at the front. "It puts a star in the front so that if people, if they're paying attention, they can tell that you're lying." Nobody is in any lava.
The real dangers keep coming. "I saw a magma cube, a gigantic magma cube." "Oh God, I got a magma cube problem." The chat shows optimus1971 earning Monster Hunter, and the team finds a spot someone calls "Home sweet home" before moving on again.
The bingo bango bongo
"I think this is the way to get to the bingo bango bongo." With the clock running down ("It's almost time for the end of the episode here"), the team reaches a long, dark walkway of nether brick. Nether brick only comes from fortresses. There are mobs on it too: "We have some skeletons, so don't walk through here." Basket kills one, picks up a bone, and the chat shows BasketMC earning Monster Hunter.
The team builds netherrack walls on the walkway, with a gap "you can walk through but these wither skeletons can't." "We got to block off this intersection so that we're safe." Someone runs out of netherrack and gets handed a stack.

The day ends with a screenshot. The armor comes off for it. "Don't throw your stuff away, man." "One, two, three." Four players line up on the nether brick between the new walls, swords out.
"All right, we'll see you next time, guys!" All four finish day three alive, with no death line in chat, standing on a fortress walkway. The credits roll after that, and nothing comes after them.
