Basket comes through a Nether portal into Th3pooka's base and finds another player already there. The plan for the day is a wither, fought with no armor. Every nameplate carries a health count under the name, because the server is on UHC mode for this one. Basket's description says this was preparation for an upcoming UHC battle on the server: Inversion UHC Season 1.
The challenge
"Yo, hello everybody, the Pooka here," is the first thing on the recording. In chat Th3pooka asks the other player, "are you trying to kill the tini zombi?" The answer: "lol, no. target practice."
A voice lays out the rules. No armor, UHC mode, and the fight happens down at bedrock in a tunnel one block wide and two tall, "so that the wither can barely shoot us." It was tested in creative mode, and the voice expects to lose either when the wither breaks blocks to reach them or when they go in close with swords. A lava lake sits right above the tunnel.
Potions and a bed
The tooltips show Potions of Strength, Regeneration and Swiftness, golden apples, and a bow with Power III and Flame I. Th3pooka types "set your spawn in my bed" and "its up stairs," but the game answers "You can only sleep at night" twice, so they wait. Once it gets dark, the bed works.
Down to bedrock
At the bottom they widen the shooting spot by one block, but only one, because a voice warns, "don't make it three-tall, 'cause he'll be able to come in after us." Bedrock fog makes it hard to see anything. "I can't see it but I'm assuming it already blew up," a voice says. Then the Wither bar appears at the top of the screen and the arrows start.
Close quarters
The wither works its way down the tunnel. Basket switches to a diamond sword as it closes in, with Th3pooka beside it on fire. Chat records two deaths in a row: the third player withers away, then "Th3pooka was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting BasketMC." The Wither bar empties a moment later. "We killed it," a voice says.
Heads and a star
Both players come back at full health, and everyone meets in the tunnel to sort out the loot. A Nether Star sits in Basket's inventory, and a voice says, "you can have your nether star." A voice mentions a player head "down there," and soon one of the player heads shows up in Basket's inventory. Someone suggests, "put on somebody's head." Asked where the heads will be displayed, a voice answers, "In my base somewhere. In Basketopia."
The episode ends with Basket climbing a stone staircase out of the tunnel. A voice signs off with the next job: "now I need to go make the beacon and get a bunch of iron." A last shot shows two player heads standing on stacks of blue blocks in a torch-lit room with a grass floor, and the end card plays over it to the finish.
