Episode 2 picks up underground, with "Episode 2" across the screen and Basket still digging in the dark. Basket and KSores are on the teal team, and nobody has been knocked out yet. That changes almost at once.
A creeper from above
Chat posts "Slyther_ was blown up by Creeper," and a string of "gg" lines follows from the other players. Slyther_ explains in chat: "a creeper landed from above and kiled me ;-;". When Basket holds up the Tab list, Slyther_ has no hearts left, joehillssays is down to about half a heart, and bUMP3rCarzz is low too. Basket and KSores both have full hearts.
A skeleton in the ravine
The tunnel comes out in a ravine, and a voice spots "lots of gold" and lapis down there, along with a skeleton. Instead of walking in, they talk about digging around the side, or getting above it and dropping lava. One voice asks, "Do you still have a lava bucket?" and the answer is yes. They dig along the wall and block off openings, and a voice soon says, "I think he died."
Water on the lava
Further in, a pool of lava sits beside some redstone ore. Basket pours a water bucket across it and the lava turns to obsidian, "a little bit safer in case we get bumped," as a voice puts it. The plan is clear by now: get iron armor, go to the Nether, and brew health potions. A voice adds, "This is like a perfect place to get diamonds." A voice remembers an earlier UHC that reached the Nether with everything for health potions except glass. Potions need glass bottles, glass needs sand, and they have none.
Suiting up
They pool their iron. "If you chuck me one more I can make us both chest plates," a voice says, and the plan grows to two chestplates, one set of pants and one helmet. Then the two of them get turned around looking for the staircase they dug on the way down. "Now we're lost." They find it again after some backtracking. When Basket checks the Tab list around 13 minutes in, Slyther_ is still the only player out.
More iron comes out of the walls, and around 18 minutes in Basket lays iron ingots out for boots. A voice counts 10 gold, enough for one golden apple, but they agree potions are the better use and keep the gold for an emergency apple.
Waiting for daylight
The sand is on the surface, and it is still night. Rather than lose health to mobs in the dark, they wait. Basket climbs the staircase back toward the village as chat posts "UHC BLOX | Mark | 40 Minutes," and steps into a wooden house up top. A voice confirms it: "It's daytime right now."
The episode ends there, with Basket alive, at full health and in iron armor, ready to go looking for sand.
