The five team cards roll, then "Season One GopherCraft UHC," and Episode 4 opens where the last one ended: underground, with zombies. "I'm wasting my sword on these jerks." Chat shows PsychoSFK earning Monster Hunter, and TopStiGearGaming asks "Virii333 log out?" just before "Virii333 left the game" comes up.
Stay down or go up?
It is day on the surface, and the team has to decide what to do with it. One idea is the Nether, but there is a problem: "We need bows before we go to the Nether." Skeletons keep shooting from the dark. One arrow costs "a half a heart." With half the day already gone, the call is to stay down a while longer and get "a couple more pieces of iron to make more swords and stuff."
A zombie, and a skeleton that wasn't
Chat lights up with Sayulily earning Time to Mine and Getting an Upgrade, and soon after: "Sayulily was slain by Zombie." The gg lines roll in, BasketMC's among them, and Th3pooka adds "good bye desert lily." 1minnyE joins the game around the same time.
A minute later another line shows up: "<optimus1971> was shot by a Skeleton." The name is in brackets, so it is a chat message, not a death. Basket catches it right away. "Oh, what a cheater. Optimus. No, he lied." Basket types "liar pants," and TChels answers "lmfao." TopStiGearGaming asks "any pvp deaths yet?" and BasketMC answers "no."
Smelting and a plan
Back at the furnaces, the iron gets cooked down. "I've got 23 iron on me." Somebody has a bow now, with three arrows to go with it, "so whoever's carrying the bow should probably have the arrows." The team talks about what to do if they run into anyone, with one person going around to flank. There is also "enough for an anvil," which would let them combine weapons later. Steel_Douglas chimes in through chat: "bring some gold with you too for convience."
Another ravine
A skeleton and a spider go down. "Four arrows and a bone." The tunnels open into another ravine with dark openings everywhere, and a zombie steps out of the wall behind the team. "There's a zombie behind us."
Six more diamonds
"I found diamonds down there." Basket heads down, closes off the spot against the skeletons, and mines out a wall of diamond ore. "Six more diamonds, sweet. That's enough for a sword each." On the way back there is gold, some on the floor and more across the ravine. "Gold right here. Be careful. I don't know what's below here."
Heading for the surface
A couple of creepers find their way down to the team. Inventories are full, and someone has found a cave that heads "kind of up towards the surface." Before they leave, there is a check on the gear: the furnaces are packed up, but some things are still in the chest. "Do we have enough to make an apple? I have seven." Then it is a slow walk back through the tunnels, mostly by torchlight.
"80 MINUTES" appears in the corner while Basket is still underground, and the credits follow. Basket is alive with lostinthefort and PsychoSFK, and nobody on the team has made it back to the surface yet.
