Episode 4 starts where Episode 3 ended: morning, with Basket, pikerize and xzosimusx in the house across from the purple team. The video opens on the same "GopherCraft UHC Season 5" title and six team cards, with no episode number. The server's "60 Minutes" roll call lists the same seventeen players as before. "You guys wanna go kill some purples?" "Yeah, let's kill some purples."
Into their basement
A skeleton and a zombie are in the way, so the team waits for the sun to burn them off. By then the names next door are gone. They spot them again one building over, in a sandstone house. The plan is to hold the golden apples until the other team notices, then eat and rush in.
It does not go that way. The team creeps into the sandstone house through the basement and blocks the door behind them. There is a chest down there the other team never opened, and nothing worth taking upstairs. The purple team has already moved on.
Arrows from the windows
Names show up to the south, moving away. Basket eats a golden apple, and the yellow absorption hearts appear on the HUD as the team chases them to the main intersection, stepping around creepers. The other team turns up above them, having crossed a catwalk near the temple, a tall building with stained glass windows.
Basket switches to the bow. Soon arrows are coming back from the windows. "Watch out, they're shooting at me." Someone has enough arrows "so we can shoot all day," but the corner is too exposed, and the team falls back.
Looking for a way up
The idea is to get into a building tall enough to see over the fight. Zombies are wandering around the first one they try, and one burns in the morning sun out front. The front wall can only be climbed to the first floor, so they go around the side.
Up the elevator shaft
Around the side they break into a small room and seal it off. One wall backs onto the stairwell and the other onto the elevator shaft. They pillar up about ten blocks, swapping a leaf block for stone so it will not decay under them, then climb the shaft all the way to the top. Up there is a room with iron doors and a button for each. From here the video switches to a green night vision view.
Watching the fight from the top
Someone took a hard hit on the way and is back to full only because of a golden apple. Two of them say they are now out of apples. The plan is to loot the floor below in the morning.
Then the team watches the player list. Th3pooka's hearts drop, then come back up. "He's healing! Popped a golden one." Earlier in chat, Sayulily had written "Heya Scoti!" and then "Bye Scoti!" Now the chat prints "technascribe was slain by Scoti_Garbidis," and a moment later "Sayulily was slain by Scoti_Garbidis." "I feel like a color commentator for pro wrestling," someone says.
The "50 Minutes" roll call lists fifteen players. technascribe and Sayulily are gone, which leaves TopStiGearGaming as the only blue player. The episode ends with Basket alive in the sealed room at the top, pikerize and xzosimusx still there, and no fight with the purple team yet.
