Episode 7 opens on the same "GopherCraft UHC Season 5" title and six team cards, with no episode number. A few seconds later the server's "120 Minutes" roll call lists eight players: TopStiGearGaming, pikerize, BasketMC, xzosimusx, Moonwillow92, Th3pooka, Gopherboy and Scoti_Garbidis. The green team is gone from the list. Basket, pikerize and xzosimusx are still together on top of the high-rise.
One ingot short
The team regroups on the roof after a night spent on the floors below. xzosimusx's nameplate reads 10 Health, and a teammate says the damage came from the fight with the green team. Everyone wants apples. Someone's apples vanish from their inventory in a lag spike and turn up back in a chest. Then they count their gold: six ingots, one short of what they need. "Well, this didn't go as planned," someone says.
Chat is busy too. Scoti_Garbidis offers to bring TopStiGearGaming an apple and asks where TopStiGearGaming is. BasketMC types "hiding in nether prob." TopStiGearGaming answers that "it owuld of said if i went into the nether," and BasketMC follows up with "hiding achivements is the way to go."
A shaft down the side
Nothing is moving outside, and the team decides the roof is no safer than the ground. The plan is to go down and loot a couple of houses, with a quick way back up. Someone has a whole stack of iron, so two of them trade their chainmail for iron armor. Sticks get passed around for a new pickaxe. Then they gather every ladder they have, twenty-two and then a stack more, and one of them starts digging down the corner of the building away from the cathedral.
Shots at the house
As evening comes, a lookout spots movement on the west side. A player comes out near a Nether portal and ducks into the house beside it. "He's fully enchanted," a teammate says, and another admits they never found a single diamond. Basket draws a bow and fires down at the house as the player peeks out of one corner and then another. "Nearly got him." Someone wishes for a TNT cannon. They have plenty of obsidian but no gunpowder.
The border and the purple team
From up high they can now see the border just down the street. "Everyone is within this area now," a teammate says. Another player shows up on a roof to the southwest, and the arrows start again. Th3pooka types "hi up there." Gopherboy follows with "KEEP TRYING!" and Th3pooka adds "i can actualy see the arrow." "I hit him!" someone calls out.
A lone player then turns up at the foot of their building, and a teammate is sure it is Scoti. The team cannot tell if Scoti is climbing or trying to trap them up top. They keep the lava bucket ready for whichever stairwell or shaft Scoti uses.
A bunker and an alarm
The Tab list shows where everyone stands. TopStiGearGaming is on half a heart. BasketMC has nine hearts, pikerize nine and a half, xzosimusx four. Scoti_Garbidis has eight and a half, and the purple team sits between four and six and a half.
Someone builds a bunker in the corner of the roof nearest the middle of the map, on the guess that the border will end up small and centered there. Stone pressure plates go down near the elevator shaft as an alarm, so anyone who comes up that way makes a sound.
Near the end, chat shows "lostinthefort joined the game" and then "lostinthefort fell from a high place." The "140 Minutes" roll call that follows lists nine names: xzosimusx, BasketMC, TopStiGearGaming, pikerize, Scoti_Garbidis, Gopherboy, Th3pooka, Moonwillow92 and lostinthefort. The episode ends at night with Basket alive on the roof.
