Episode 6 opens with the "GopherCraft UHC 8" title and the seven team cards, again with no episode number. Team Citrus Sensation is still underground near spawn, where the last episode ended at diamond ore. There are now four diamonds in Basket's inventory, and the team has to decide what they become.
A room full of zombies
While mining, Basket breaks into a zombie spawner. "Oh god, that's fast. That's so many zombies." The first rush costs hearts ("I'm down four more hearts"), and then Basket charges in with the Fire Aspect sword: "I'm going to light it up." The zombies go up in flames.
The room pays off. "Golden Apple! Alright, what a deal. Totally worth it." There is more gold around it, the furnaces get busy, and the golden apple count climbs. Someone points out they are right underneath spawn, and someone else suggests turning the spawner into an XP grinder.
Three more players out
Chat keeps busy up above. "OjiiOtousan was slain by TopStiGear." A little later, "FriarNurgle was slain by xzosimusx," and then "Frank_n_Honest was slain by TChels." Each one brings a row of "gg," and BasketMC adds a "gg!" after the last. Down in the cave, the news sinks in: "They're pvp'ing."
Brainstorm
The four diamonds go into one strong sword. At the anvil the Diamond Sword gets a new name, Brainstorm, and the tooltip reads Sharpness II. "I'm gonna give it to you, Psycho."
Basket's own sword, still called "FIRE!!!", has Fire Aspect I and Sharpness I. Basket stands by the spawner killing zombies for levels, aiming for Sharpness II with the fire. Levels also go into a pair of iron boots, which come off the anvil with Protection II. "There we go, protection 2 boots."
Packing for a fight
The talk turns to the surface. "Should we be the first one to go into combat, do we want to let some other people fight it out?" Then a reminder: "Before we go into combat, eat your apple." Basket clears out the inventory ("This is combat time. I don't need that"), keeps the music discs from the dungeon chests ("I'll throw discs at them"), and the team makes a pile of ladders. A wooden pressure plate goes down too, as a fake trap to fool anyone who follows.
Up the stairs
Rather than tunnel somewhere new, the team goes back out the way it came in, sneaking the whole way up the staircase.
"I'm at the top of the steps. I wonder if it's daylight." The server posts "Mark 120 Minutes, End of Episode 6" and lists ten current players: PsychoSFK, BasketMC, pikerize, xzosimusx, Shaman_, TopStiGear, rePeteGG, TChels, Scoti_Garbidis and MomofMiners. Basket ends the episode alive, near the surface, with both teammates still in the match.
