Episode 7 starts where Episode 6 left off: Basket in a narrow tunnel, the last of the Librarians, with the card reading "Episode 7, To the Surface." "My team died in the nether. Or, going into the nether. Looks like it's just me." The Tab list shows five players still in, with Th3pooka nearly out of hearts and Basket at full health.
Digging up
The border is moving, and something is burning overhead. "I'm gonna try and get to the surface. The border is currently shrinking so I need to safely get up there." Basket stays low until the lava noises fade, then starts digging up toward the middle of the map, hoping to "get the jump on some people."
Chat warns "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!" A moment later: "Th3pooka was shot by pikerize." The gg's roll in, xzosimusx types "great shot pike" and pikerize answers "WOOT!" Basket laughs. "So I really want to find pikerize."
A burned forest
Basket breaks out into daylight in a forest. Lava sits in pools across the grass and a fire is still going in a clearing. "Somebody's been here 'cause this is all burned out."
Chat posts "Soul Crusher is coming! (The World Border is shrinking)," and Basket keeps moving toward the middle. "I'm getting closer now."
Rain over the village
It starts to rain. "Oop, it's raining, so that'll help out with the fire." The forest opens into plains, which Basket calls "a pretty tough spot to run into." "There's a creeper right there. Why is there a creeper right there?" Basket goes around it.
A village sits ahead with burned patches and lava around it. "I feel like people would have pillaged that." Basket checks the blacksmith. "Looks like it's pillaged already." Chat brings another warning, "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!", and a line from pikerize: "MY hands are freaking shaking!"
Virii333
A player in light purple armor comes across the plain, and the green nameplate reads Virii333. "Ah! I'm being attacked. Serpentine, serpentine!" They trade sword hits in the tall grass. Basket's hearts drop fast. "This is a bad spot because I can't really retreat very well." Then: "I can't sprint!"
Basket backs off, switches to the bow and eats the golden apple, which adds gold hearts on top of the last red ones. Virii333 keeps shooting. A few seconds later the screen reads "You died!" and chat says "BasketMC was shot by Virii333."
Spectating
Basket is out of the match. The game switches to spectator mode, and Basket floats in a glass room while chat fills with gg's from Virii333, pikerize, xzosimusx and FriarNurgle. Basket types "gg." Then the border line comes back: "Soul Crusher is coming!"
Basket picks Virii333 from the spectator menu and watches for a moment in the rain by the village. The episode ends there, with Basket spectating. This video does not show the end of the match or a winner.
