The Hypermine Patrons UHC pairs Hypermine members with their patrons, or with fellow patrons of the same creator, and only one pair can win. Episode 3 picks up underground with Basket and johnfal_92 still in the match and still without a single diamond. The title card reads "Hypermine Patrons UHC Season 1, Episode 3."
Day three, eighteen left
The base is a stone room with an obsidian floor, a row of furnaces and a crafting table on the wall. When Basket opens chat, the end-of-day message is there: "End of day 2. Players remaining:" followed by eighteen names, BasketMC and johnfal_92 among them. Geosquare writes "HEALING FINALLY," and N7DeltaForce answers "GG."
Diamonds at last
Basket goes back to branch mining, swapping out picks as they break and pulling redstone and coal out of the walls. Then chat lights up: "johnfal_92 has just earned the achievement [DIAMONDS!]" Not long after comes a second one for johnfal_92, [Enchanter]. The pair has an enchantment table.
Chat stays busy while they dig. Zaziggi earns Monster Hunter, Geckor writes "omg such noob," and Kasper_ replies "Oh geckor, please..."
A message from Scoti
Then a whisper comes in for Basket: "Scoti_Garbidis whispers to you: we need to meet up we have gold and lapis." Scoti_Garbidis is on the orange team too, in another pair. Basket keeps digging.
Enchanting
Back at the base, the enchantment table sits on the stone floor with an anvil next to it. Basket works through the menu, and its hints offer Projectile Protection, Protection and Sharpness. Lapis, gold and iron move between the furnaces and the crafting table, and the purple glow spreads to Basket's pickaxe and sword.
johnfal_92 comes back to the base in a full set of glowing enchanted armor.
Naming the sword
Basket puts two enchanted iron swords into the anvil to combine them, then clicks on the name box. The first try reads "Scoti's Slayer." That name gets edited a few letters at a time, and the box ends on "Scoti's Lair."
The last stretch is more of the same: more enchanting, more iron in the furnaces, and new armor pieces at the crafting table. Basket and johnfal_92 are both still alive and underground when the episode ends.
