The Hypermine Patrons UHC pairs Hypermine members with their patrons, or with fellow patrons of the same creator, and only one pair can win. Episode 4 finds Basket and johnfal_92 still underground at their obsidian-floored base. The title card reads "Hypermine Patrons UHC Season 1, Episode 4."
Still eighteen
When Basket opens chat, the server's message is there: "End of day 3. Players remaining:" followed by the same eighteen names as before, BasketMC and johnfal_92 among them. WowoTabernak asks, "is anyone else lagging?" Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC answer "not i" one after the other, and Basket follows up with "jinx you owe me a coke."
Seven levels short
johnfal_92 walks across the obsidian floor in a full set of glowing enchanted armor.
The name from last time stuck. The tooltip on Basket's sword now reads "Scoti's Lair," Sharpness II. Basket puts it in the anvil next to a second iron sword with Unbreaking I and Sharpness II, hoping to combine them. Keeping the name costs 7 levels, and the cost shows in red. Basket's level is 4. Scoti's Lair stays a Sharpness II sword.
Diamonds are the other topic. "I've got nine diamonds now," a voice on the call says, and the talk turns to whether they should go into a sword or a chestplate.
A zombie gets MrDaeker
Then chat posts "MrDaeker was slain by Zombie." The server fills with "gg." Geckor writes "pumpky no :(" and Murasaki_Tatsu adds "go with honour." A while later MrDaeker posts a heart, and Kasper_ answers, "you will be missed." Seventeen players are left.
Lava in the ravine
Basket and johnfal_92 work through a ravine full of lava pools, with mobs waiting on the other side. A creeper and a zombie stand past the lava, and a voice on the call says, "I'm putting lava down." Scoti_Garbidis whispers in with "#TeamDog," and Geosquare reports, "hp is bak finally."
Gold, and a player gone
Past the ravine, Basket digs out redstone and a cluster of gold ore.
Then chat shows "eMCeeScott left the game." WowoTabernak asks if it was a disconnect, and later asks SalsaDoom76 what happened. SalsaDoom76 doesn't know at first, then guesses an internet problem: eMCeeScott disappeared and dropped everything.
Chat keeps itself busy. jandoncom admires someone's fortress, johnfal_92 earns Monster Hunter, and a counting game runs from "One" up to "five" before Ady67 breaks it with "Carrot." Geckor earns the DIAMONDS! achievement. On the call, the diamond count climbs to ten, then fourteen.
End of day 4
Back at the base, Basket opens the enchanting table again. The level counter, up to 9 earlier in the day, now reads 2. Chat posts "End of day 4. Players remaining:" with sixteen names. MrDaeker and eMCeeScott are gone from the list. BasketMC, johnfal_92 and Scoti_Garbidis are all still on it.
The last plan is armor. A voice on the call asks, "want to do diamond pants for both of us?" The episode signs off with "what enchant will we get in our pants? Find out next time!" Basket and johnfal_92 are both alive by the enchanting table as it ends.
