The second part of Inversion UHC Season 1 opens with the season card again, one team at a time, and Team Booger is BasketMC, Mitzify and JohnnyPlaysMC. Then it is back underground at the mineshaft where the first episode ended. The chat says "20 Minutes Elapsed!" and JohnnyPlaysMC's nameplate reads 13 / 20 HP. In this season a full hunger bar heals nothing, so that number only goes up with golden apples or potions.
Into the mineshaft
The spider at the entrance turns out to be the ordinary kind. "Yeah, that's a regular size spider. Okay, sweet." The team goes in. A skeleton waits down the rails between the wooden supports. "Oh skeleton watch out," then, "and a creeper." A little later: "Skeletons, nope nope nope nope."
Out of torches
Light runs short fast. "Yeah, we're gonna need torches, I'm out of torches. I have 18 coal right now." Friendly aim comes up too: "He shot the block right next to me." Then something gets in that shouldn't have. "Cover it up, cover it up." And: "There's like five zombies coming and you're not doing crap."
Lava and gold
Deeper in, a lava pool sits right next to the path, with water spilling down nearby. Mitzify walks right past it, nameplate still showing 13 of 20 health. Then: "I see gold!" The answer comes back, "Alright, go get it."
The open cave
At a furnace by the rails Basket smelts iron and crafts a pair of iron leggings, then heads into a big open cave. "Alright this is a dangerous area." Then: "As soon as I say that I get shot." Asked if everything is okay: "Yeah I lost one heart." The cave pays it back. "There's so much iron here. This is amazing." The gold vein is smaller than it looked, "only four pieces," which brings the team's count to 10. The iron adds up to "thirty iron on me," enough that "we can all make ourselves a full set, basically." One hole gets a name: "Can we nickname that the creeper hole?"
Back at the furnaces
The team falls back to the furnaces and crafting table set up beside the rails. Basket smelts more iron and crafts a bow from sticks and string for a teammate. Then Basket opens the player list. BasketMC sits at 17, and Scoti_Garbidis is still at a full 20. PontiffLachlan shows no number at all. "I think if your name is too long it doesn't show." Gopherboy is down to 4. The talk turns to healing. "We need to find apples."
Lost on the way home
The cave is "a little too dangerous," so the team turns back, and nobody is sure which way the base is. "Where's the way back to the base?" One tunnel is a dead end. "It's a dead end." Basket blocks off the dangerous side and chops into a mineshaft support as the chat reads "40 Minutes Elapsed!" Basket ends the episode alive and still underground, and the end card follows with nothing after it.
