Episode 7 picks up at the cave GopherCraft found at sunset, the one somebody else had already dug. "This isn't us. I don't think this is us." Chat still shows AngryK9's "120 MINUTE MARK", and right after it, "JoethePirate1 was shot by kanivatimber." A row of "gg" follows, Scoti_Garbidis among them. Then AngryK9 posts "Permenant Day," and MNSweet answers "NICE."
Following the torches
Basket, Scoti_Garbidis and PsychoSFK head in after whoever lives here. "Let's follow the torches, because they're not going to be breaking torches." Bows come out at every corner. "I'm on the left with a bow." "I'm on the right with a bow."
The tunnels are full of clues and dead ends. Some passages are sealed with cobblestone, and they break through. One stretch looks like branch mining that someone gave up on. Iron sits in the walls untouched. "They're passing up all this iron." To keep their own nameplates hidden, the three sneak most of the way. "You move a lot slower when you're shifting."
The group drifts apart in the maze and takes a few minutes to find each other again. Meanwhile chat reports "fuubi was shot by sneegsnag," and both Scoti_Garbidis and PsychoSFK type "gg."
Lava for the zombies
Deeper in, the zombies start coming. Basket pours lava across the floor of a cave room, and the zombies walk into it and burn. "I'm putting down lava." Chat brings a new worry from Starrlett: "Border causing lag." That gets a reaction underground. "Where's the border? We never thought about that."
The team calls off the hunt. "Combat is much better on the surface."
The border in the tunnel
On the way back up, the border shows up right in front of them, a wall of red stripes cutting through the tunnel. "I don't like the border at all." They dig away from it, and one of them says it stops at 200 by 200, so the plan becomes keeping the border at their backs and heading for the middle. Chat posts another kill: "fluentchaos was shot by kanivatimber."
Out on the plains
They come out in daylight on a grassy plain. Food is on everyone's mind. One of them has four steaks and another has 15. Basket clears the axe off the hotbar and puts a golden apple there instead. Chat keeps the count going down: "Holdobot was shot by rad504." Sneegsnag adds, "godiva is copying us."
From a hilltop they look over a dark forest and wonder where everyone else is. "There's still quite a few people left, man. Over a dozen."
Into the storm
Then the rain comes, and it turns into a thunderstorm. Starrlett tries "./toggledownfall" in chat, and dolinmyster answers "nope." The team heads for the plains where they think they started, past a hidden pitfall and across a river. Scoti_Garbidis wades through. A spider goes down and leaves arrows behind, and a creeper sends them backing off.
They start looking for a place to dig in for the night, inside the border. Basket's sign-off is "something blew up." AngryK9 posts "140 MINUTE MARK" in chat, and the episode ends with all three still in the match, standing in the rain.
