Basket Island has a new name. "Today we're going to head on over to the Basketopia, previously known as Basket Island." The torches from last time mark where the roads go. Today some of them get dug.
A chest full of supplies
On the way in, Basket mentions a change to the tunnel: it will eventually go straight through to Basketopia, instead of turning off toward the iron farm. On the island a chest is waiting, signed "Basket Island Supplies (beacon in here)." It holds a beacon, food and a pile of building blocks. "I'm set for days." The chat log later shows johnfal_92 behind it: "didnt want the workers to go hungry" and "i'll keep the deliveries coming from the cobbleshop :)".
Basket's first real build will probably be an inn or a warehouse, with labeled chests anyone can fill on the way past. The castle plan is changing too. After looking at medieval pictures, Basket now pictures an outer wall with a big keep inside it and a courtyard of smaller buildings around it, maybe a Great Hall.
The beacon
The beacon goes underground, in the mining area below the island, so it helps with digging. Basket builds the pyramid out of iron blocks, sets the beacon on top, and nothing happens. "Did anybody see what I did wrong?" One layer is missing. Basket adds it, picks Strength by mistake ("Oh, that was strength"), then switches to Haste. Water at the bottom of the shaft makes it safe to drop straight down.
How wide is a road?
Back on top, Basket digs out the main road with an iron shovel. Five wide feels like a lot, so Basket lays stone bricks across it as a test. The buildings will have upper floors that stick out over the street, and a skinny road would feel cramped under them. Five stays. "I can change it later if I need to. It's the beauty of Minecraft." The nether portal will move into a basement "wine cellar" later, partly to keep pigmen off the island.
A better shovel
Shippogirl16 asks in chat about "the pokeball on your island." Basket has seen it and will "probably take it down during the island building." Then johnfal_92 types "new shovel coming," Scoti_Garbidis joins with "hey all!", and johnfal_92 adds "look down." It's a diamond shovel with Efficiency V, Unbreaking III and Mending. "So much nicer, thank you."
Roads up and down the hills
The rest of the stream is digging. Main roads stay five wide, a branch drops to four, a side road to three, and the road out to the farming area gets four because it's "not a major road, but it's an important road." Slopes get stepped down a block at a time, and Basket tries to keep the land mostly as it is. Diagonal stretches flip between four and three wide. Rain keeps coming back, even after sleeping. When a viewer suggests gravel spaced through cobblestone, johnfal_92 points out "gravel in the stone chest."
A cove for the cranes
Near the end Basket comes to a cove and has an idea for it. Big ships could unload at a dock out past the cove, smaller boats would bring supplies in, and a crane up in the keep would lift them to the storehouse. For now, torches mark where the roads still need to go. The final road surface is still undecided, probably mossy cobble and cobble with gravel for the worn spots. The video ends on the credits, with no gameplay after them.
