Basket is back at Iron Island after some work off camera, clearing out a lot of the area around the build. The water still isn't behaving, but that can wait. "In this episode we're going to be working mostly on the paths."
A chest of sea lanterns
The paths need a lot of sea lanterns, and Basket is short. johnfal_92 is on the server and offers in chat: "if you need more I will get them?" A little later comes "sea lantern chest here", and there it is, a chest with a Sea Lanterns sign on it. "You might be giving me the hookup. Thank you John, appreciate it." johnfal_92 heads off before the half hour and leaves the game with a "best of luck!"
Threes and twos
You come into the base through the nether portals up top, and the paths are how you get from there down to the bottom. Basket's name for them is crazy platforms. Each path runs flat for a few blocks, then steps down in slabs, with a line of sea lanterns down each side.
The rule is to alternate: where there are two slabs, do three, and where there are three, do two, so nothing is left hollow when the other blocks go in. Keeping count is the hard part. "This is tough for me." Basket eyeballs it, then counts it, then finds the mistake. "I screwed up so this should not be here." Putting the side lights in early helps show where a step went wrong. By about the half hour the top set of paths is mostly done. Some of the blocks up there are meant to become obsidian once Basket has mined it.
Digging down into the old island
The next stretch goes downhill into ground that is mostly sand. "This used to be the outside of the island." Basket digs out the path and holds the water back with glass, and the water fights every change. "Oh, it's so frustrating." Some spots pour where they shouldn't, and ghost blocks don't help: "Any day now, Mojang, you can fix them." The plan is for the two sides to merge before the next layer down, with a slime farm built around whatever the design ends up being.
A tour of the farms
Partway through, Basket shows the build to some new people watching. The mob farms drop skeletons, zombies and creepers to their deaths. Four iron golem farms sit in the corners and send their golems over to burn up. Everything they drop rides up, down the water and into the sorters that run all the way round. The ladder up is only temporary. The chests still aren't labeled, and dirt doesn't have a spot. "I should probably make a spot for dirt anyway."
Four paths and no way out
Lower down, the plan is a ring like the one at the top, six blocks out, with paths coming in from all four directions. Then Basket spots the problem. "How do they leave here? I didn't plan for that." The fix is to slope the paths in so they meet the disc at the corners, with a path going down from the middle. Basket builds some of it from below using water buckets, and starts laying out the disc with stand-in blocks where the obsidian will go, plus a railing so people are less likely to fall in. The episode ends with Basket lighting up one side, and the video closes on the credits with no gameplay after them.
