Episode 59 picks up on the floor of the iron farm base. One of the stone and sea lantern paths has already been shifted over, but the path on the other side hasn't. Basket wants them to match, and since the hoppers run underneath the paths, those have to move too.
Moving the path over one
The quickest way turns out to be tearing it all out. Basket pulls up the path and everything under it, then starts with the hopper chain, since that's easier to put back first. The hoppers get relaid one block over, and furnaces go on top of them to cap them off. Basket runs short on the first try. "Yeah, we're gonna be really short by one." A trip up for a big stack of furnaces fixes that later. Then the path goes back down along its new line. "I think actually supposed to be in one more, was the whole point."
Testing the slime farm
On the way up for furnaces, Basket stops at the slime farm to show it off. A big slime gets stuck in one spot. "So he does still get stuck if he chooses to go in that one way." Left alone, it would hop to another spot, fall in and die. The magma kills slowly, but "it's actually a little faster than drowning would do." The big ones still can't fit in some places "unless I change stuff."
The other side, and a way out
Back down, Basket does the same job on the opposite side, checking the finished side first to see where the hopper chain turns. It starts moving over one block away from the edge. The chain has to zigzag, and it takes a couple of tries. "I feel like it must snake back one more that direction first." A missing hopper turns up at the end. "There's a hopper missing. Got it. Fixed."
People fall down here, so Basket adds ladders on the outside of the pillars. Not every block takes a ladder, so the material gets picked to fit. "If you're ever in this base and you fall down," there's now a way back up.
A tour of the base
Partway through, Basket stops to give the quick version of the whole project. There are four iron golem farms in the corners and four mob farms. Mobs land in water, fall and die, and their items ride the item elevator up into a ring of sorted chests under the water. One platform is the slime chunk, where slimes spawn and walk onto the magma blocks. Basket plans to copy that platform onto the other corners just so the base looks symmetrical, without the redstone. A viewer suggests a lava blade for the witches, but Basket says it won't help, because witches have fire resistance. "I think the only thing I can really do is possibly put in iron golems in there."
Down at the chests, bones and gunpowder are already sorting into their spots behind temporary markers. Basket recommends feather falling and a respiration helmet for anyone visiting. This whole base is a side project; the main one is the city of Basketopia elsewhere on the map. Sugar cane for the library was the original reason, and it may end up floating above the base, dropped onto magma to go straight into storage.
Platforms up top
The temporary way up comes out, and Basket starts on the raised platforms that are still missing. Counting from the center, "one, two, three, and that's where it starts rising," on each side to match. One beacon is in the way and is going to move anyway, so its block comes out. "Probably lose all these buffs." By the end the new paths are in place, and the credits follow with no gameplay after them.
