Episode 69 opens in the storage room under Basketopia. Basket puts fuel in the furnaces after some off-camera grinding at the blaze farm, then cooks a load of stone bricks so they come out cracked. There are new tools too: a chest of pickaxes, a good handful of them with Silk Touch and Mending. Then it's up the hill to Basket Castle to show what changed between streams.
Changes made off camera
One wall used to run four blocks further out, and it "just seemed too wide," so Basket moved the whole thing in. It might lose one more block, or it might not. A room on the gatehouse that used to stick out further now has a platform on the back, most likely at the height of the city wall on that side. From there a path will run along the wall, with towers in the corners. The battlements on top are still "placeholders" that Basket wants to make "less Legos and more like fancy."
Stairs, trapdoors and a window
Trapdoors go on top so people can get down to the ladders on each level. Then Basket works on stairs between the floors. The first try runs along the back wall, but it doesn't line up with the room, so the stairs move out to the catwalk. On one floor, the stairs end where the murder holes over the entrance ramp begin. On another, Basket counts the spaces, shrinks the landing to two blocks, and turns the stairs so you can "run straight up." Higher up, one spot might get a real window, so people outside with the gates shut "can potentially yell up" and say why they want in.
Along the way Basket points out the two portcullis cranks and the bigger drawbridge crank from last time. A wall gets filled in with stone bricks and a few cracked ones. Mossy ones can wait, since moss would show on the inside too.
A detour through the tavern
On the way down for two stacks of cracked bricks, Basket gives a tour of the tavern and inn. There are small private dining rooms, a sky bridge over the alley, and secret doors behind paintings. In the owner's bedroom, a button opens part of the wall onto the roof. The library is still a work in progress. Later a bookcase there will open as a secret door, and the nether portal will move next to it.
The barracks wall
Back at the castle, Basket starts a new building on the edge of the grounds, and says that "might be the barracks." The wall goes up in plain stone bricks with a cracked one now and then, curving in "as close as you can get to an arc." Basket pulls out a map to show the whole island: the keep, a big harbor, city walls all the way around, and another mountain that might get a smaller keep. At the top of the wall, Basket lays a stone brick floor across, makes the room three blocks high, and puts torches down below so creepers won't spawn inside. Then the stone bricks run out.
Shopping at the farm base
Basket needs smooth stone, so it's off to the big farm base to get some. Mobs spawn in boxes, fall, and die, and their drops ride an item elevator up to a ring of sorted chests underwater. An iron golem drifts along a water stream and burns in lava, and the iron heads up the elevator. One box sits in a slime chunk, which makes it "an inefficient slime farm." A big slime hops into the pit and dies, and soon the slime balls go up.
The last job is a furnace that's missing from a row of them at the base. Basket finds some cobblestone, crafts a furnace, and puts it in with its back facing out. "I think we're good to go." The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
