Throne Room: Team B.S. Server Episode 77

Episode 77 goes back to the keep at Basket Castle, where last episode left the throne room as a floor plan. Basket is the only player in the game this time.

Stone in shulker boxes

First comes a supply run. Basket has some shulker boxes to try out for the first time, and fills them with stone from the iron farm's storage, since stone is what the castle needs most right now. "We might end up draining all of the iron farm of smooth stone." Back at the keep, more mossy stone bricks get crafted, after one wrong try at the recipe.

A bigger room

Between streams Basket decided the throne room felt too small, so the walls on both sides move back one block toward the outer wall. The single-door entrance stays. Behind the room runs a back corridor that "might have some secrets in it," though how that fits with the throne isn't settled: "I haven't decided yet what the design of the throne will be."

Seats, pillars and standing room

Spruce stairs go down along the sides as two rows of seating. The Game of Thrones throne room is "kind of my reference," though this room is smaller. Pillars in front of the seats block the view, so thick ones are out. Basket tries birch fences instead, and with a log standing in for the throne at the far end, "you can see a lot better."

Then the seats go too. Maybe the people here don't get to sit. Half slabs make three layered rows of standing room, which Basket likes better than the stairs, and the math says it costs the same wood. Armor stands could be fake people standing in the rows, maybe with player heads someday. The rows go up another half slab, which leaves space underneath for a secret tunnel.

A birch ceiling and a balcony

A stair archway tops the doorway, and the ceiling lines up with it. Basket likes birch here, but there's no birch farm and not much birch on hand, so upper birch slabs make a thinner ceiling and run out fast. A spruce railing turns the edge above into a balcony. Cracked bricks get mixed into the walls. "So our throne room's coming together."

Doors on doors

The main entrance is two wide, and Basket wants tall double doors by stacking one door on another. It doesn't work. "You can't have doors on top of doors, so then, that's a shame. I really wanted that to work." Banners or trapdoors that look like doors might stand in later.

A stairway goes up next, shifted over by one block to make room, with a gap beside it for a possible secret corridor. Upstairs there will be more defenses and a big stained glass window, four wide. A viewer suggests a tree behind the glass, and Basket likes the idea.

Windows in the stairwell

Small windows go into the stairwell, with a sill to stand on and iron bars planned. Outside, Basket tries two looks above one: two stairs or a solid block. Chat picks the two stairs, and so does Basket. A slab in a small side corridor leaves just enough room for a chest to open. The front towers won't get stairways of their own, since they take up too much space; the main stairs will run up the middle instead.

The stream ends there, with a lot of birch still to gather. The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
