This stream of Quern opens with a recap of the machine room from Episode 17. Most of the hour goes to a berry juicer that turns each berry into a drink with its own effect, and to making taxs and the crystal-melting potion all over again. Late in the video a red drink shows a hidden number, the combination lock opens, and two coded boxes and a cave follow. It ends in the cave, at a wheel on the wall that does not take the sequence yet.
Disks and symbols
"This is just a quick recap." A small disk goes into one of several slots in the room and lights that slot's symbol. Put under a press and squashed, it shows a symbol through a little window, and the commentary writes it down. Next to the glowing crystals is a combination lock of white rollers marked in lines: "it's 12 digits, and then at the end you can hit a button." There is no code for it yet.
A bucket from the inventory gets tried on the well and on other spots, with no luck. Then, on the way back: "Oh, look at that! I found a thing." It is a second disk. With both in the slots, "we've lit a bunch of stuff up."
A drink for every berry
The lit symbols match marks on chests around the island, and two of them open. Behind one is a note: "The squeezed liquids of the native berries have quite intense effects on one's senses." The other opens a nook with a berry plant tray, a drinking glass and a press. Clip a berry, drop it in, set the glass, squash, drink.
Each drink does something different, for a few seconds. Green makes everything wavy. White fogs the view and slows Basket almost to a stop. Purple turns everything blue, and Basket runs very fast. Another gives double vision. Drinking them in other parts of the island shows nothing new: "I feel like none of that helps me at all."
A map and a bucket
Paging through the inventory book turns up something: "Oh, look at that, it's a map." The island is drawn with its buildings, and a small marker shows where Basket stands and which way Basket is facing. Back at the bucket, one spot looks promising: "if I had something on top of that, I could put it into the bucket." The plan becomes to fill it with a potion.
Taxs all over again
"I guess let's make some taxes." The chart on the easel gives the plants again, and the cutting tool and grinder do the rest. In between, the last two berries go through the press. Red turns everything "super red." Yellow flips the view upside down and zooms in, and an achievement for drinking every kind pops up.
With taxs in hand, the second recipe gets brewed: taxs and three jar ingredients, then green, white and yellow dust. The commentary remembers that this is the potion that dissolved the white crystal. It will not pour at the bucket spot.

Then the red drink comes out in the room with the painted-over panel. The whole view goes red, and a number shows through the paint. "Yes! Three, seven, one, nine." The rollers on the combination lock get turned to match, and it opens: "Ah, more of them." A new disk goes under the press, and two more symbols light up.
Two boxes and the cave
One newly opened door leads down a rocky path, and the screen says "Area Discovered: The Cave." In a chest room, a sheet shows two symbols, each followed by a row of marks. Read as ups and downs, the first row opens a box: "up, up, down, up, up, down, down, up, down, up. Aha!" There is an object inside. Back in the cave, the second row opens another. A letter there says that "when the Converter is fully powered, meaning that all the batteries are in place, it supplies energy to the mechanics." Next to it is a cog: "We picked up a cog. That's awesome."
Where it ends
On the cave wall is a wheel with spokes that push in; once they are all in, it resets. The cave's sheet has numbers that might give an order, but trying them doesn't work. "I'll have to come back to this next time." The video ends at the cave table, with the cog and the new object in the inventory and the wheel unsolved.
