Philford Kerman flies BSSExtension1 up to BSSScience1, and its flexible docking port finally holds. The hatch won't open, so Philford leaves the ship behind and spacewalks across.
DockingWho5 finally locks onto BSSHub1, and Lodlorf Kerman spacewalks across to it. The joined ship won't fly straight, so Basket builds BSSAdapter1, a big RCS carrier, and test-flies it twice.
Fins added, BSSHub1 flies again with Lodlorf Kerman aboard and no parachutes. It catches BSSScience1 in orbit, and then the two ships spend half an hour refusing to dock.
BSSHub1 is in orbit with Lodlorf Kerman aboard, but its planned burns won't behave. DockingWho5 goes up with Ludwell Kerman to meet the hub, and the two craft get within a few meters without docking.
With 769.5 science banked, a new tech node brings corridors and sideways docking ports. A first station hub refuses to fit together, a second one becomes BSSHub1, and it lifts off empty at night.
SolarBat1, DockingWho4 and Eureka2 all bring their kerbals home, the science total climbs past 279, and BSSScience1, the first piece of a space station, takes shape in the VAB.
The docking tutorial finally gets two ships within arm's reach. Back in the real save, two new DockingWho3 rockets meet in orbit, but docking mode will not switch on.
Two uncrewed docking test rockets go up to meet in orbit and never quite do. Gene Kerman's docking tutorial takes over, and it ends with the ship out of fuel.
An uncrewed Eureka2 swings past the Mun and loses its antenna on the way home. Then Jebediah flies two scientists to Mun orbit, and the labs send back 207 science.
The lab science buys a three-seat capsule, and Eureka1 is built around it. Its uncrewed test sits on the pad until half its fuel is gone, then lands on its side.
Bob Kerman reaches the lab on Science12 by ladder, comes out the wrong door on the way back, and needs the jetpack. Then SolarBat1 puts Bob back in orbit.
Science11 carries new modded parts into orbit: two robot test launches, then Bob Kerman on a ladder walk that cannot reach the lab, and a landing in Kerbin's Highlands.
Jebediah Kerman rides Science10 past Minmus, steps outside for an EVA report high above it, and splashes down in Kerbin's ocean with 55.2 science aboard.
