Day six of Island Survival, Michael Deering's April 2014 challenge, opens with the edited intro and then the words "Day 6" and "Lily's Ghost" over the grass by the base. The chat shows PsychoSFK, Max_Writer, Steel_Douglas and lostinthefort joining the game, and optimus1971 walks past the enchanting table. "So we're back, and we're supposed to survive on the side and do three more days. Anybody think we'll make it?"
A name on the list
Sayulily died in the last episode, and in hardcore that ends a run. Yet when Basket opens the Tab list by the wheat field, it shows eight names: Scoti_Garbidis, optimus1971, Sayulily, BasketMC, PsychoSFK, Max_Writer, Steel_Douglas and lostinthefort. The jokes start right away. "There's a ghost." "Why was I being haunted?" "Don't haunt me, I had nothing to do with your death." Nothing on screen shows a ghost. It stays talk all episode, and so does the blame. "If you saw my episode title, you definitely let her die."
Chores at the base
Basket bone-meals the wheat by the water, and a patch of sugar cane now grows on the sand near the water. At the cow pen Basket feeds the cows wheat, then types "how's the nether?" Steel_Douglas answers in chat: "scary." A ladder drops into a pit full of chickens. "Chickens in the hole." Down in the underground farm room, Scoti_Garbidis waits by the furnaces, and a large chest still holds the C418 ward disc.
Back to the ravine
"Let's go back to the place where you let somebody die." Basket and Scoti_Garbidis head down a long tunnel into the caves. Basket pours a water bucket over pools of lava and turns them to obsidian, digs redstone and iron, and fights off creepers in the dark. "Oh, there's a real creeper over there. Whatever. They're all fake to me now." The chat shows optimus1971 earning Delicious Fish, and Basket types "congrats." The talk drifts to diamonds. "Don't you always want more diamonds?"
Night by the pen
The two climb back through the farm room and out of the house into the dark. "Hey, we got the raft built up there." Max_Writer and lostinthefort are up on the grass, and zombies are already crowding the fenced pond. Basket types "you guys have potions?" and Steel_Douglas answers "in fortress, busy."
The beach fight
The sand past the base fills with mobs under the moon: skeletons, zombies, creepers and an enderman. Basket swings at all of them alongside lostinthefort and Scoti_Garbidis, and an explosion goes off nearby. The chat shows PsychoSFK earning Time to Strike and then Monster Hunter. Arrows land, and Basket's hearts drop to six and a half. "Ahh, you piece of... I should eat." "Eat Basket, eat!" Basket eats and keeps fighting until the sky turns red.
Morning
"Sun's coming up though." In the chat Max_Writer writes "Let's call the episode." Basket walks the fence by the pond in the sunrise, and the last shot shows several players standing together on the grass. Basket ends day six alive, and the chat shows no new deaths. The credits roll, and nothing comes after them.
