Day six of the Max Writer Challenge picks up where day five stopped: at the crafting grid in the spawner workshop, deep under the desert. The recording buddy is still on the voice call, and only Basket's screen is in the video. There's an anvil in the workshop now, next to the chests.
Diamond tools
Before anything else, Basket climbs up to look at the sapling planted on the surface. It's still a sapling. Back underground, the iron pickaxe gets an upgrade: "I guess I'll make a diamond pick." Three diamonds go on the crafting table, and a run of achievements pops up in chat, starting with the one for building a workbench. A little later a diamond sword follows. That one earns "Time to Strike!", and a zombie killed by the spawner brings "Monster Hunter."
Regular zombies
The day-one plan was to cure zombie villagers, so Basket gets ready. A name tag goes into the anvil, but no name sticks. "I don't know what to name these guys." Then it's time to check the zombies stuck in the cobblestone slots around the room, one face at a time. "You're a regular zombie. Wait, are you? You're a regular zombie, too." None of them are villagers yet.
A way up
Getting to the surface is the next problem. Basket wonders about it out loud: "I might try and water elevator up to the surface eventually." A tunnel of steps climbs away from the dungeon. Signs go into the shaft, and so does water: the start of a water elevator.
Night in the desert
Basket digs up through the sand and breaks out through a ceiling of leaves. There are trees up top now, and it's night. The desert is crawling. A creeper walks right up beside the tree and the torch, there's an explosion, and zombies close in on the hole. Basket takes the quick way home: "So I just jumped into the hole, fell a huge amount of ways, but then landed in the water."
A clock from gold
Back in the workshop, Basket takes gold ingots out of the chest. A line on the call pushes back: "Don't make a clock, you need it for your apples." Gold is what golden apples need, and golden apples are how a zombie villager gets cured. Basket makes the clock anyway: four gold ingots around a piece of redstone. "I'm gonna make a clock." Right after that comes the catch: "I forgot how to read a clock."
The rest of the day goes on the workshop. Basket refills a water bucket and fights zombies in the slots by the spawner. Then Basket calls it: "I think actually my episodes are done." The pause menu comes up with Basket alive in the dungeon, and the credits roll. Nothing plays after them.
