After the "GopherCraft SMP" intro, a title card reads "Episode 10, Ender Ender." This is the build Basket named as next at the end of the sorting system episode: an enderman farm out in the End, where endermen spawn on pads, fall, and land with almost no health left.
Into the End
Back at the base, Basket shows the short nether brick structure from the dragon fight episode, now with a little platform for getting into the End. One day it will run higher with the same lava swirl pattern. In the End, Basket starts from a small cobble platform and builds a path out to the farm site, filmed from above by what Basket calls "my camera guy."
The path first had a rail line. On a supply run, Basket's cart stopped where another cart already sat, and getting out could have popped Basket into the void. That was enough. Basket decides a railway in the End is no longer safe and breaks up the rails. People can run.
Two floors, two sides
Basket lays out the plan on the platform. The bottom floor gets the enchanting setups, anvils and the chests for ender pearls. The floor above has two kill spots, each under its own pillar of spawning pads, so two people can farm at once and each keep a side. The pads are based on a design from another YouTuber's video, minus that design's TNT mechanism for killing both sides. Hoppers and hopper minecarts will carry the pearls down to the chests, with maybe a button to dump a chest if pearls pile up. Then the two floors go up in fast motion.
Testing the fall
Before stacking any pads, Basket checks the drop height. The only places endermen can spawn so far are a small test spot and "the cameraman scaffolding," so Basket puts on a golden helmet first. Basket bumps two endermen off the edge. Rings spaced two and a half blocks apart keep them inside the chamber as they fall, and they land on a half slab, still alive and nearly dead. A punch finishes one off. "That is the proof of concept that this is the correct height."
The first spawning pad
Basket builds the first pad on camera from memory: pistons, tripwire hooks, string, half slabs, redstone, and a comparator in subtraction mode. Something feels off ("what am I missing"), so Basket checks the video once and adds a block. Basket jumps up to demonstrate, and it works. The rest of the tower goes up in fast motion.
About a minute and a half to level 30
The progress tour starts at a new path over to the obsidian platform, which Basket thinks other players built, plus two water quick drops another player asked for and stairs back up. Behind the kill spots, hoppers send the pearls down into chests, and a spare chest holds supplies for repairs. The endermen die quickly. Not everything is right. One pad has no string on it, and at the top Basket finds the two sides built so close that they share parts, so one trigger fires both. Basket calls it "a slight inefficiency" and suggests building them further apart. By some people's timing, it takes about a minute and a half to reach level 30.
Ice under the glass
Last, following a suggestion, Basket swaps the tunnel floor for half slabs over ice along the whole length. Trapdoors on top would make it even quicker, but Basket wants to keep the look, and the glass gives a good view of the two towers. The episode ends with a third-person shot of Basket walking down the glass tunnel, then the end card runs out to a black last frame.
