Day 2 of Minecon 2013 in Orlando starts with Basket talking to the camera about the plan, then moves through the Redstone panel and the Mindcrack panel, a long autograph line, the barnyard, and the closing ceremony.
Lining up early
"Hey everybody, Basket here. This is day 2 of Minecon." The first stop is the Redstone panel, and Day 1 taught a lesson about popular panels: show up early. "There's a couple that I went to about 20 minutes before it started and then it turns out I was in the back of super long line." The only way in was at the Q&A, when people start to leave, "but you've missed most of the content." So the plan is breakfast, then get in line about an hour early. The Mindcrack panel is coming up later in the day too.
The Redstone panel
It works. A caption says Basket ended up with great seats. The panelists sit at a long table on a stage built like Minecraft blocks, with the panelist list on the big screen behind them. The host welcomes everyone to the Redstone panel and lays out the plan: 40 minutes, introductions first, then some questions picked ahead of time from a video, then open Q&A. The panelists introduce themselves one by one to cheers and laughs.
The Mindcrack panel
The Mindcrack panel fills a much bigger room. A long row of panelists sits in front of gray curtains, a big screen shows whoever is talking, and the audience is packed in all the way to the camera. The group introduces itself down the line to applause, and a story about the members' catchphrases gets the room laughing.
Lines, a barnyard and the closing
A main-stage interview plays on the giant screens. Then a caption names the next sight: "Longest Line in the World for Mindcrack Autographs." The line runs down the hall past pillar after pillar.
The barnyard from Day 1 gets another visit: a horse, a mooshroom, a cow, sheep in bright colors, pigs and a chicken, all life-size and blocky. The last clips are from the closing ceremony, with purple stage lights while a song plays, and then the card: "Stay tuned for more Minecon videos."
