The stream opens in the middle of a game that is not on the Stealth Cruiser. "I don't remember what we were doing." That ship is lost in Sector 4 a little under half an hour in. Then Basket picks the Stealth Cruiser B, DA-SR 12, with a Glaive Beam, Long-Ranged Scanners, no shields and a crew of three: Ariel, Bovee and one more crew member. The first Stealth game ends in Sector 1. The second reaches the Sector 2 exit, and the stream stops there with the ship intact.
The last of a Lanius game
The opening ship flies a Chain Laser, an Ion Stunner and a Swarm Missile, and the crew list reads Stelly, Valeriya, Lisandra, Jones and Markus. The beacon map says Sector 4, a Rebel Controlled Sector. The plan from before is to hack the enemy weapons and wait until the missile charges to three. "I may end up losing this, because we're running low on fuel."
A merchant asks for mercenary help, and the ship takes the quest. A Rebel ship hacks the doors on the way. The quest ends at a delivery ship chased by pirates, and the pirate's teleporting bombs keep the fight going for several minutes with the oxygen off. "We survived that fight, everybody." Then a Rebel Rigger with a big missile charges its FTL drive while the hull reads critical. The ship breaks apart and the Game Over box shows a score of 1246. In the hangar afterward the commentary calls it "a Lanius that we were just doing."
Stealth, and a quick game over
The Stealth Cruiser C is still locked, and the commentary knows the condition: "I have to get to sector eight with the B." So B it is. "You start out and you have no shields and you have the big Glaive Beam."
Sector 1 is a Civilian Sector, and the first beacon is a store with nothing to buy. Cloaking past an automated ship to its stash does not work, so the cruiser fights it. The Glaive Beam takes out the weapons, and a second shot finishes it with no damage taken. At a station whose malfunctioning system keeps its own repair crew away, the cloak lets the ship get close and disable it. Then a Rebel Disruptor arrives with hacking, a beam drone and a missile. It knocks out the weapons and the oxygen. "I remember that's why I haven't beaten this one yet, because this is a tough ship." The hull runs out, and the Game Over box reads 147.
Second try
"Okay, let's try again." The new game has the same ship and the same three names. The trick now is timing: pause, wait for the enemy to fire, cloak, then let the Glaive Beam cut through three rooms at once. A ship with mind control goes down that way. So does a Pirate Interceptor whose captain offers paid services. Basket fights it instead.
On a planet, the scanners find small, six-legged, horse-like animals. Basket leaves the choice to the viewers, and the vote is to bring some on board to sell. The animals turn violent and chase the landing party back to the shuttle. A Federation signal pays off better.
One ship offers part of its cargo to surrender, and Basket turns it down. The glaive is still charging, so the cruiser jumps away instead. "I should have accepted the surrender."
Civilian space, again
Sector 2 is another Civilian Sector. With cloaking, the ship slips past an automated guard into a Rebel station and finds an Anti-Ship Fire Drone schematic, though there is no drone system to use it. A stealthed ship forces a retreat. A slave trader's ship ends with a Mantis named Fish joining the crew. "Thanks for all the fish." The first store has no weapons. At the second, Basket hires Hassifa and repairs the hull.
Another ship demands a crew member. "I will never surrender one of my crew." That ship goes down too. At the last store, with 72 scrap, the commentary weighs a second weapon against more power and decides on the Scrap Recovery Arm.
How it ended
At the exit beacon, a small Rebel ship refitted for transport does not want a fight. Basket demands its cargo, cloaks through the first shots, and wins. "Did it!" The crew list now reads Ariel, Bovee, Fish, Hassifa and one more crew member. The sector map offers Engi Controlled space or the Zoltan Homeworlds. The commentary leans one way, then the other, and leaves the choice for the next stream. The video stops there, at the Sector 2 exit with the ship intact.
